I have tried MANY slow cookers since my last one died after 12 years. I have also had to RETURN many because they boil on the warm setting. Finally, one that doesn't! I haven't used this for anything but slow cooking so far, but it is fantastic! It is so easy to clean, too.( I don't put non-stick pans in the dishwasher, even if they're dishwasher safe, which this is) This is so easy to use and well worth the cost. Ninja is the only brand slow cooker I'll get from now on! Can't wait to try the other settings! Between this and the smoker, my stove will be getting a big break! Btw...the size is perfect for family dinners when all the kids come over!

We replaced our old porcelain crock pot with this Ninja multi-cooker, and we've been absolutely THRILLED with that decision. If I could change one thing about it, I'd make the removable pot be stainless steel instead of non-stick, simply because I'm moving away from all non-stick cookware. I got this one on sale, and I haven't found them any cheaper anywhere else since then, including at Sam's Club, so a great price is a bonus. I use this multi-cooker for making pot roast, beef stew, etc for my family, as well as for making several ingredients in my homemade dog food (brown rice, pearl barley, garbanzo beans, etc). If I have to make those things on the stove, my kitchen gets unbearable hot from the stove being on for so long. Ninja apparently makes pretty great ... MoreWe replaced our old porcelain crock pot with this Ninja multi-cooker, and we've been absolutely THRILLED with that decision. This is my third (coffee maker and food processor before this), and I have to say, they're worth every penny. If you've been thinking about buying this Ninja multi-cooker, do it! I would highly recommend this Ninja multi-cooker.

I had high hopes. First Iâll start with what was good. The size was great plenty of room for cooking for a crowd. The ability to sear was a game changer and less cleaning as you eliminate the need for an additional skillet. The BAD: Inconsistent heating. On low you would expect a âlow simmerâ to basically cook on low temp. After leaving chili cooking on low for 3 hours it was barely warm and not cooking at all. You have two options HI or LOW. No in between. Low basically keeps warm and does not cook. If I had a pot roast no way it would have been done after 8 hours on low. But when on HI my chili was literally boiling a fast hard boil! Taking it back. Wanted to like it but compared to a traditional crock pot the temperature inconsistency is disappointingâŠ.

I had one of the original Ninja 5 in 1's for years, it was fantastic used it for everything. Sadly, it died a year or so ago. So, I didn't hesitate to buy another. Only the original model was no longer available, so I purchased this one. Took it home and started using it. Made 4 or 5 meals with it and it burned everything on the Slow Cooker mode, Hi or Low it didn't matter. Assuming this was a defective one I returned it and exchanged for another Ninja just like it. It did the same thing !!! I returned that one as well. Still hoping to find a Ninja that worked as well as my original, I bought a third one. Only to have the same problem with the slow cooker mode burning everything. I returned it and have given up on Ninja. I wish they would have left well enough ... MoreI had one of the original Ninja 5 in 1's for years, it was fantastic used it for everything. Sadly, it died a year or so ago. If you look around online there are many others who have had the same problem as I did. My advice, don't waste your money.
We purchased the Ninja Crockpot during the holidays. Once received we began using it right away. Love the color and assembly was easy. Lots of cooking or baking options and time selection too. Everything cooked in the Ninja Crockpot came out perfectly. Pork Roast and Chicken Taco soup all cooked evenly and delicious. The lid seals nicely with no leaks. The ladle that came with the crockpot sits atop the lid and comes in handy for stirring. The pot was easy to clean. Lightweight and easy to handle. Overall a great purchase. Great appliance for cooking.
I am in love with this Ninja Foodi Possible Cooker. I bought this slow cooker to replace my old crockpot. I have had it for a few weeks now and I have cooked in it almost everyday. It is 8.5 qt. capacity, which is a nice big size for cooking a roast or a whole chicken. I love the fact that the insert can be lifted out and placed on the table for serving. It is not heavy like the crock inside my old crockpot was, so it is easy to lift and clean. It is dishwasher safe which is another plus, but also handwashes easily because of the nonstick coating. I love the cherry tarte color that mine came in, it looks very nice sitting on the counter.
I love the versatility of the possible cooker. I have been able to sear the chicken or beef and even fry up hamburger before making the rest of the meal. I used the possible cooker to bake a casserole and it turned out moist. I have recommended this to several of my friends who plan to buy one as well. Did I mention the ease of cleaning? All you have to do is lift the top part out, and you can wash it. Because it is nonstick, it is very easy to wash out. All you have to do is use a washcloth and wipe down the outside of the base. I also love the color and keep it sitting on the counter all the time.
Pretty sure this came previously used. There were a couple of scratches on the outside the the metal cooking surface. I needed to use it in a pinch so I kept it. I made chili in this, after washing thoroughly, and there was a noticeable plastic/chemical smell in the food. Worst of all, after using this in several additional occasions, the low setting definitely does NOT cook well. Following recipes that call for food to be cooked oh low for 8 hours, the food comes out undercooked, and vegetables do not at all cook evenly. Cooking on high works but it seems to cook VERY high to the point it comes to a boil. The design is also oddâseems food in the pot above the outside heating element doesnât cook as well. I would like to return this but thereâs no option. First ... MorePretty sure this came previously used. There were a couple of scratches on the outside the the metal cooking surface. Definitely seemed like a good idea, but in execution, doesnât live up to the hype. Perhaps I got a defective one?
I waited to write a review so I can give a real review.First I have had this over a month now and use it almost daily. it is fantastic! Yes, the lid has a hole it is supposed to for some steam to release. Dont have the lid on when using saute since it is the highest heat the unit produces. To me these were common sense things but other reviews mentioned them in a negative way.In regards to the "water in the lid" there is a small amount of water that can get between the metal rim of the lid and the glass. Is it going to kill or make you sick? probably not. I hand wash the unit and lid and there is little to no water because I choose to clean it this way. The unit is non stick and is so easy to clean. I make cheesy dishes regularly and have had no issue wiping it ... MoreI waited to write a review so I can give a real review.First I have had this over a month now and use it almost daily. it is fantastic! I make cheesy dishes regularly and have had no issue wiping it out.Would I recommend this to anyone? Absolutely!! Especially if you have a large family. I make everything in it, from tacos to soup. I would highly recommend the Ninja Foodi Possible Cooker! I can carmelize onions and get a beautiful browning on sausage links in it. It browns ground meat perfectly, and chicken gets the yummy brown bits you want it to.The only complaints I have is that a silicone grip for the pan's handles would be beneficial and with the height of my counters plus the added height of the base unit is a bit high, but the power it puts out makes the minor discomfort when breaking up meat seem inconsequential.
I hate using my glass top stove, keeping it clean is a nightmare. I got this Ninja Multi cooker so I could sautĂ© ground beef and make chili/shepherds pie/spaghetti all in one pan. I have a smaller Ninja Multi cooker that I love. This one has a learning curve to it.So far I made Mac and Cheese, set it to bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. The whole bottom was burnt. Usually I bake in oven for 50 mins at 350.Tonight I tried baking chicken thighs. I first set on sautĂ© to brown them. Next I tried baking again at 350. After 15 minutes I went to turn them and once again they were burned. The temperature on this thing must be off. 2 meals ruined.Tomorrow I am going to try pork chops. This time I will have to stand there and watch them so they donât burn.Might have to go ... MoreI hate using my glass top stove, keeping it clean is a nightmare.
