A Great Way to make Great Meals Quickly

The Ninja Speedi is an excellent way to cook healthy meals quickly and conveniently. For one meal I made chicken thighs on the top rack with crispy skin but juicy inside, with rice and veggies steaming in chicken stock in the pot below. It's so easy, I just placed them inside and cooked for 20 minutes, then serve, with no messing around in between, with just the pot and rack to clean afterwards, it's ideal for weekday cooking after work. I also made some pork chops, with cabbage and potatoes following the handy recipe book and it was delicious. It condenses the meal process into simplicity, protein on top, carbohydrates in the bottom with vegetables in either. The rack itself is unusual with the foldable legs, I worry that with time natural grease build up could mess with the function, but it does need to be able to both sit higher up and at the bottom so it does make sense. The interface is clean and easy to read with responsive clicky buttons. The ability to switch between cooking functions makes it incredibly versatile for making pretty much anything. It looks great and the build quality is solid, with a weightiness to it so it can become a permanent fixture in its spot in the kitchen. I can't wait to get some trial and error done to see what else I can make because the possibilities are pretty endless. All in all it's a great way to make great meals without having to spend hours in the kitchen.

Which is a bonus for me.I cannot see a negative in this product at all. It’s brilliant. I’m off to make a cake with it today and cook a pasta dish.Well done ninja on this product you have surpassed yourselves again.

I also like having a larger capacity air fryer to use and the slow cook function. I'll get to those in due course!

Great Ninja Speedi

I have hung back buying an air fryer as I thought the could be a fad, but my 82 year old mother had one and loved it so much she bought a bigger one, gave my daughter the small one and she loved it, so I decided maybe I should give it a go, I’m glad I did. I looked at a few and decided if I was taking the plunge it might as well be worthwhile, so I bought the speedi, one reason was the size. The speedi is such a versatile cooker, I love it. Have cooked the cauliflower and chickpea curry, my husband loved it, easy for me as he gets in later after we have eaten so this one pot 20 min dish is easy.Have cooked frozen jackets, warmed croissants, sausages pasta bake, burgers and sliced new potatoes all quick easy and the frozen scampi was amazing and crispy. Reheating quiche was a bit of hit and miss. Will still have a small deep fat fryer for homemade chips as although frozen chips are good fresh chips not so good.I like the size at it fits in a cupboard.Downside if it is one, I had to go and buy lots of herbs and spices however now I have them it’s easy to make a healthier meal.Getting the air tray out with the tongs is a bit of pain and takes a while to get the knack.Watch TikTok for recipes and YouTube lots of hints and tips.Overall quick, easy, less mess and healthier.

I recently started using the Ninja Speedi 10-in-1 Rapid Cooker ON400UK having previously used the Ninja Foodi MAX 9-in-1 Multi-Cooker 7.5L OP500UK.On first glance, the Ninja speedi is much less bulky and much more aesthetically pleasing compared to our previous Ninja Foodi. The main obvious improvement/benefit is the addition of the rapid cooker feature which means that you can much more easily cook a full meal in one go. The Ninja Speedi is designed to allow you to cook a base such as rice, risotto, pasta, potatoes, etc using steam, while also being able to use convection cooking to cook your protein such as chicken, pork, beef, fish, etc.As well as the Speedi Meal function, The Ninja Speedi offers the following functions:- Steam Air Fry- Steam Bake- ... MoreI recently started using the Ninja Speedi 10-in-1 Rapid Cooker ON400UK having previously used the Ninja Foodi MAX 9-in-1 Multi-Cooker 7.5L OP500UK.On first glance, the Ninja speedi is much less bulky and much more aesthetically pleasing compared to our previous Ninja Foodi. The main obvious improvement/benefit is the addition of the rapid cooker feature which means that you can much more easily cook a full meal in one go. Loving the Ninja Speedi

At the outset, I was somewhat hesitant when I bought the Ninja Speedi. As an enthusiastic Ninja product owner, already having the grill and double drawer air fryer in my culinary lineup, I was intrigued to see how the Speedi would perform. To my delight, this new appliance has exceeded my expectations and fits right into my Ninja kitchen gadget collection. The Speedi's versatility shines, having proved its worth in preparing a wide variety of dishes. For example, it recently delivered perfectly cooked and moist salmon fillets with rice, all in record time. It's not just the cooking prowess, but the Speedi has saved me considerable time and avoided kitchen mess. So, Ninja, if you're listening: should you wish to send any new gadgets my way for testing and reviewing, I'd be thrilled to offer my feedback. Until then, a huge thanks to Ninja for consistently delivering top-notch kitchen aids that make cooking a breeze.

As the lid opens to the left only, and tips if the base isn't completely on a work surface, I am very limited to where I can put it in the kitchen. It either hits the fridge, over hangs the cooker, or hits the microwave. I have tried Speedi meal and it was far from speedi by the time it had prepared itself, it took approximately twice as long as the quick cook setting on my old Lakeland (under £100) multi cooker and it definitely isn't as quick as a pressure cooker. I then tried the opposite, the slow cook setting and this was borderline dangerous. All other slow cookers I have had do not evaporate the liquid, this one did! I came back to all the liquid gone and I had put in more than usual just in case.I Haven't had an airfrier before, so have nothing to compare it with, it did sausages well, but took about the same time as doing them in the oven/grill. I tried some ready made items like hash browns, onion rings, filo prawns and similar. They all seem a bit dry! The instruction book wasn't clear what to do with the oil, I had to ask my Mum (I bought her the 15-1 and she loves it) if it should be brushed/sprayed on (as I thought) or if it went in with the water for steam air fry. Finally I tried the steam bake setting. The cakes rose up so much, they came out the top of the "cake holes" and looked rather phallic, they tasted good but stuck to the bottom of the silicon tray, so not a bake I would really want to give to anyone else. I will give it a go for a little longer, but this may be one that appears on ebay. It isn't faulty, so no grounds to return it really, I just really don't like it.

First of all, really tired of brands not investing in a decent instructions manual. The 15-minute claim is well overexaggerated given that it doesn't take into account the preheating time and the estimated cooking time will usually be a lot longer. A small cup of grains took just under 50 minutes to cook. The steam bake function only half-bakes cakes/breads. Not everything can be turned out to bake the bottom half. Preheating takes 20 minutes and if you require extra baking time but let the clock run out, it will go back to preheating for another 20 minutes before the steam bake continues. The water evaporates quickly and requires replenishing several times throughout. As the appliance doesn't display a warning when the water empties, you have to check water levels very regularly or the Speedi could get damaged.Avoid if you're a vegetarian/vegan. All recipes are meat/fish based. The meal builder doesn't provide recipes that don't include a protein which is really unhelpful if you need to just cook rice and frozen vegetables for instance. The non-sponsored Youtube videos are also for meat/fish dishes. The tray is poorly designed and dangerous to use during cooking. To access the food in the pot, you have to use tongs to lift the crisp tray provided no food is stuck under the tiny handle. It's very fiddly and any food cooking on it risks falling off it.While the tray and pot are fairly easy to clean, the heating element is a different story! All in all, extremely disappointed in the Speedi. The support from Ninja is non-existent. It was supposed to be exactly what I needed but it ended up being really costly to run with poor results to show for it.

Speedi - as the name says! And great non-stick
8 July 2023

Having known how convenient and great air fryers are, this was the next level up for me; to be able to cook both proteins and softer carbs, like rice and pasta in one step. This unit has not disappointed me, I can create full meals for a family of 4 in 20mins or less using the speedi meals. It still has the standard air fryer capability that I love, plus grill, bake and roast, which are equally quick I have to say, as there's minimal pre heating time in my view. And one of the best aspects is the cleaning. That non stick really is worth it, so much, I would happily try out other Ninja products with this coating.I do have a couple of observations - the crisp tray can be tricky to remove from the bottom position when hot, so if you are trying to switch between ... MoreHaving known how convenient and great air fryers are, this was the next level up for me; to be able to cook both proteins and softer carbs, like rice and pasta in one step. But as it is really the only thing I use to cook with these days, that's not as problematic as it sounds. Also worth saying the packaging was all recyclable and sufficient to protect during transit.Love it, so 5 stars from me, a great buy!

This is a fantastically designed machine, I'm so pleased with it - I don't often write reviews but every time I use my Ninja Speedi I think: I've just got to tell people about this! With the speedi meals option (and online meal builder) I can cook a lovely balanced meal in less than 15 mins for 2 or 4 people with little effort. Airfry and sauté are excellent. I use the bake for frozen meals amongst other things. The grill is faster than my toaster, adjustable temp up to 240C, good for quick cheese on toast. In fact everything has better temps and cooks faster than previous 'multi cookers' I've had, saving electricity. Square pot and airfry shelf/trivet are very practical, better than round eg I can airfry 2 toasties at once. Small footprint on kitchen worktop, not ... MoreThis is a fantastically designed machine, I'm so pleased with it - I don't often write reviews but every time I use my Ninja Speedi I think: I've just got to tell people about this! In fact everything has better temps and cooks faster than previous 'multi cookers' I've had, saving electricity. Square pot and airfry shelf/trivet are very practical, better than round eg I can airfry 2 toasties at once. Small footprint on kitchen worktop, not too tall, relatively lightweight, robust, clear display on the front of the machine. Very easy to use, can't believe it's simplicity, and many things you can use it for to replace traditional oven and hob. As you will have gathered, I highly recommend the Ninja Speedi!
