Introducing NIOD’s third generation, multi-award-winning Copper Amino Isolate Serum 3 1:1, a water-based serum suited to all skin types, as a replacement for the Copper Amino Isolate Serum 2:1. The high-performance formula contains a 1% concentration by weight of pre-assembled and fully stable GHK-Cu, alongside 1% GHK peptide. Plus, additional collagen-supporting peptides such as tripeptide-29, acetyl tetrapeptide-2 and trifluoro acetyl tripeptide-2 help address visible signs of ageing such as fine lines and loss of firmness. Boasting a lightweight, fluid texture, the serum intensely hydrates and nourishes thanks to a blend of mono-dispersed, plant-derived glycogen and cross-linked hyaluronic acid. The 2% concentration of GHK and GHK-Cu aims to reduce the appearance of textural irregularities and uneven tone, while minimising the look of visibly enlarged pores for radiant-looking complexion. With continued use, skin appears smooth and supple, adorned with a natural glow.

I've been using The Ordinary products for about a decade now and really like them, but other than Sanskipt Saponins and Hydration Vaccine, I've avoided Niod products because of the price. I decided to try some of the other Niod products during the November sale so bought this along with MMHC2, Fractionated Eye serum, and Hydration Vaccine and after using the set all together, in less than 2 months, I noticed considerable improvement in the appearance of my skin. I have pretty decent skin overall for my age (I'm 55) and have always looked younger than my age, but as I've aged, naturally, so has my skin. I have this pitting that has developed over time due to collagen breakdown and no matter what I've tried, nothing effects it...until now. While they haven't completely disappeared, they are so much smoother and less noticeable. I'm absolutely thrilled! My daughter has noticed a difference and in the course of two weeks, I had 3 people tell me how young I look, one of them carded me for a bar area and another guy took a double take after looking at my license and said, "I wasn't expecting that!". I have very fair skin and always have a little rosacea but now there's only a tad on the cherries of my cheeks. I would never go out without at least putting a little concealer on my problem areas (I wear minimal makeup but like to wear concealer and blush), but now, I feel comfortable enough to go without makeup if I really want or need to. I also have fair skin that is fairly sensitive so I can't wear anything with added fragrance or comedogenic ingredients, and so far haven't had any issues with pimples, acne, or clogged pores. Just really lovely smooth skin. I can't say which product is the magic pill or whether it's a synergistic effect, but regardless, I'll continue using all of these products religiously.

All of you who justify or don't believe the half empty bottles, consider these things: Have you bought CAIS 3 before? Have you always received a half empty bottle? NIOD also has other products in 15 ml / 30 ml bottles, have you bought some of them? Were they also half empy? I can tell you this: I have used CAIS for at least three years, and last october was the first time I received a half empty bottle. AND, in that same order last october I had with the 15 ml bottle of CAIS a bottle of FECC, and guess what? FECC was full, CAIS was half empty. The logic here is clear: the CAIS -50% campaign is BS, and Deciem was actually lying in the comments when they claimed that there is enough product and the bottle (/tube in CAIL) only is too big. HG and all time favorite serum 💖
7 August 2024

This has been a constant repurchase for 4 years as it adds a fresh young glow to my sensitive mature skin. Never caused irritation. I have tried 4 copper peptides and this is one with the most impact for me. I didn’t see results till after 3 months (skin cycle slows down with age) so I’m glad I purchased the full size. I was already using retinoids for years and this is a great addition. Retinoids in the PM, Copper peptides in AM. I highly recommend getting the full size. When I don’t use it my skin becomes dull less plump and more hyperpigmentation

My financial situation has gotten better and I can afford better skincare . Last fall I shelled for this serum, let me tell you, everytime I look at it my skin breaks out. I first got some Flavanone mud and that cleared all the congestion I had accumulated from using a substandard face wash for years. I had always been a fan of SOD mist but I couldn't afford it. Now I can, bumped that into my routine. Got some of this serum and a few good others (Crystal Retinal Serum from another company etc) and my skincare game has seriously leveled up. When I was younger, I could get away with using drugstore stuff. I am a mature woman, I need some quality in my life. Simpler routines and skincare that works. Here it is. My worst experience with a skincare company so far
30 January 2024

I purchased 4 products during the November sale - 2 CAIS, 1 mist, and 1 mud mask. I was so excited to try this brand. I started using the CAIS serum at the end of December ( 3 weeks after I purchased it) and after a week there were massive breakouts on my forehead. I came to the comment section to see if other people are experiencing this and I noticed that people who purchased CAIS during the November sale (like me) were complaining that their products arrived with an expiry date sometime in January, They were sold serums with 2 months remaining shelf life. Then I checked my serums and it turned out that there is no expiry date on their packages. No expiry date on the box or the bottle. What product did they send me? I cannot believe that they are selling cosmetics with no expiry date. This can be a huge health hazard and this is beyond irresponsible. I would never use them again. You can keep my 100 euros NIOD to pay for our non-existent customer service. AVOID THIS SCAM at all costs and don't fall for their so-called "promotions".

A lot of the recent reviews are about product amount in the bottle so I thought I would just add one on the product itself. I have late 40's skin and have used this intermittently over last year. Last month or so I realised I needed to use up this bottle so started using day and night....and have realised suddenly how good my skin is looking. It's hard to put my finger on it.just less noticeably old and wrinkly! Someone yesterday was raving about how good my skin looked and were shocked at my age! I was a bit taken aback. Nothing is miraculous but I do think this has made a difference. Also use the HV and eye FECC with a tinted mineral SPF and a smear of photography fluid on top on my cheeks. Makes my skin look great. Not bad for an old bird!

Since many people comment on fill level
27 November 2023

I decided to write about my experience since a lot of people have been commenting about receiving products that are missing content, which I found concerning at the time of ordering.I first ordered the smaller bottle and sure enough, there was a lot of empty space in the bottle and the liquid didn't even reach the top of the label. However, I poured the product into a 15mL measuring spoon and the product reached the top of the measure. After this, I felt confident enough to order a couple bigger bottles, and those are basically filled to the top.So in my experience, the issue seems to be that the smaller bottles are actually just a bit bigger than 15mL in volume, so they don't get full when filled with 15mL of product. Toxic ingredient causing cancer in CAIS3 formula

As another reviewer said, CAIS3 has Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2 (TFTP-2) which belongs to a very toxic group of chemicals that is linked to cancer, miscarriages and more. I love the serum, and thought this would be I serum I’ll stick with until I took time to study each ingredients. I’m an engineer not a doctor nor scientist but love to read science papers. NIOD have a way with words and I can see how easy it is to be drawn in. CAIS has an ingredient that should be out and be replaced in my opinion. That ingredient is Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2. It belongs to a very toxic group of chemicals that’s link to cancer, miscarriages and more. I very disappointed that NIOD would add this controversial ingredient in their products. For this reason I won’t buy this again. And to NIOD team please reformulate and don’t put our health in jeopardy for profit gains.
