the first time i used still product you really feel the peppermint tingly on your scalp and back. Peppermint smell is powerful but dont worry your hair wont smell like peppermint the next day. It does have a natural peppermint smell. The shampoo is easy to use it lathers up nicely and remove well oils and product built up. I do feel like my hair was more shiny and healthy looking after using the product for 30 days. I only noticed a slight decrease in fallouts. If you have thinning hair i do recommend these products, i feel like it helps keep your hair strong and thick and improving your scalp health. This shampoo does a fantastic job of cleaning my scalp. It has a very nice eucalyptus/menthol scent that I enjoy. I used this shampoo for several weeks in order to see if I would benefit from said benefits. My scalp felt tingly after working it it, and my hair felt clean, as if I had used a clarifying shampoo. I do have to admit that my hair did feel a little dry but the conditioner that came with it made it feel hydrated and soft. One of the biggest things that I noticed was how the shampoo reduced the amount of hair loss I was used to losing in the shower. I saw a significant reduction of of about 85%. I have PCOS so I shed more than I should due to hormone issues. I am Asian with bleached blonde hair so I switched to system 6 and my hair is so healthy and I have tons of little baby hairs. It works so well! I am not even concerned anymore about my hair and when I bought it, I was tempted to get some inserts because I felt so insecure about how thin it was! Definitely recommend. It takes 2 weeks to get used to it. I got some scalp pimples and felt greasy at first but it’s totally normal. Power through and it goes away.

I tried the Nioxin System 1 shampoo cleanser for about a month to help with my thin texture hair. Even though I have long hair, I have thinning hair near my temples or towards the front of my head with a thinning hairline in the front and towards the top of my head mostly due to an autoimmune thyroid disease condition. The Nioxin shampoo was effective in helping with my hair loss as I noticed more thicker hair coming in where I suffer from hair loss. This shampoo also helped thicken the texture of my thin hair. I am reviewing this as a whole system, not individual products bc I think it’s important to use all 3 pieces together in order to get the best result. This was not quite as good as I expected, although it certainly helped. I suspect I need system 2 or 3 to have it make a serious impact. But it did give my hair more volume and brought back some of the curls I had somehow lost. It also helped with hair fall a little (again, I just think I need a stronger system) and I can feel new growth on my scalp. I would highly recommend this, but I would absolutely say to make sure you get the right system for your hair, don’t underestimate just how strong of one you need!

I received this product Complementary from #influenster to try and give my honest opinion. So far I am seeing a difference with my hair. I have hair past my knees and it was starting to get thin. I am 38 and as I get older I am noticing my hair is falling out more. When I received this SHAMPOO I figured it wouldn't work but as the days go by I am noticing new hair growing and growing pretty fast. It has a mint smell to it that helps open up you're hair follicles. It cleans out all the build up that comes from Shampooing, Conditioning and pollution everywhere. This comes in a kit with the shampoo, scalp therapy conditioner and scalp hair treatment. The packaging is sleek and easy to use. I highly recommend these products if you are experiencing light hair thinning.

I do not shampoo my hair daily and I try to go as many days as possible in between washes. That being said, I still saw some results in the short amount of time I used this product. First, the shampoo leaves your hair feeling clean. The smell is pleasant and there is a cooling, tingling sensation with these products that I really enjoy. I massage the shampoo and conditioner into my scalp and I try to keep both products on for a few minutes in the shower so they can “sink in and work their magic†. After the shower I wrap my hair in a hair towel to absorb most of the moisture. Using a wide tooth comb, I detangle my hair, make a part on my scalp and spray the scalp treatment. I continue this all over my head. Comb-part-spray. I massage this product into my head and then style as usual. Ever since having kids (7 years ago) my hair has gone from crazy thick to thinning. It’s depressing and scary. I’ve collagen and biotin but I didn’t notice much of a difference. After using Nioxin for this short amount of time, I’m already seeing baby hairs!!! I’m hoping it’s new growth and not breakage. It looks like new to me. I wish this campaign was longer so I could have more time to know for sure. I’m happy with the results. When I finish this set, I may bump up to system 2.

I have lightly thinning hair around my face and hairline, so I was excited to try this Nixoin Haircare System. After about a week and a half of continuous use, I’m not a big fan. The scent is intensely peppermint, and because of that has a strong cooling effect. To me, it doesn’t make for the most pleasurable or relaxing shower, but it is rejuvenating and energizing due to this cooling. The shampoo and conditioner also tend to leave my hair feeling somewhat dry vs soft. I haven’t noticed additional strength in my hair, but I expect I need to use for a couple weeks to see results. However, based on the scent alone, I don’t know if I’d recommend this system.
