Nioxin System 4 colored Hair Progressed Thinning Kit

I am VERY impressed! I have had my hair dyed blonde for at least the last 10 years! As much as I love the blonde, all the chemicals sure does put a strain on the health of your hair! I have been using these for a couple of weeks now and honestly, I am very impressed! After only the FIRST use, I immediately saw and felt a difference in my hair! My hair is voluptuous yet feels light and bouncy, and my biggest and favourite suprise, my hair is super shiny and looks healthy! Miracle product. I started losing a lot of hair a couple of months ago. I had very thick hair before this. I started using Nioxin less than 2 months ago and noticed that my hair stopped falling after only a couple of uses. The product has a pleasant smell, not very strong and it’s worth every penny. I find that you only have to use a small amount of shampoo so the container of 300ml is going to last you quite a bit.

They also contain some B vitamins and vitamin E to help strengthen the hair. Overall both products leave my hair feeling soft and full of volume. The scalp treatment foam is quick and easy to apply to the scalp and adds an instant cooling, refreshing sensation. It adds some hold and definition to my hair; the finish feels like a hair mousse. It doesn't feel oily or greasy which is great. Overall I am pleased with the products in the Nioxin kit as they have left my hair with some added volume and my scalp feels healthier. I haven't noticed a huge improvement in my hair loss, but I would be keen to purchase this kit and use the products for longer to see what the more, long-term results would be. I think this a good kit for anyone who wants to try these three products for several weeks.

Bring back the old formula!!!

I have used Nioxin faithfully for years! Its always done wonders for my scalp issued. I was using system 6, smelled great, nice thick hydrating conditioner, etc. Then they changed the formula...I will never buy nioxin again now! I have seen a significant increase in hair LOSS, my scalp is itchy and irritated. The conditioner is liquidy and doesn't hydrate whatsoever. BRING BACK THE SYSTEM 6!!!

Great Trial Kit for Specific Concerns

I trialled this 3 part system over the course of a month, using the product once a week, in alternation with my toning shampoo and conditioner as I have coloured blonde hair.My hair is quite brittle and damaged from years of poor maintenance and colour treatments (my own fault, I know!) so it was about time I started looking at ways to repair the damage and scalp care is crucial to that.Over the month, I also changed hair salons, and noticed that they use and stock Nioxin products so I took this as a good sign! There are reparations to the damage and breakage of hair and I do feel continued use would alleviate some of my concerns.The shampoo lathers well and cleans the hair effectively. I felt I needed more conditioner to feel it was making an impact through the hair. The leave in treatment was slightly foreign to me at first as it focused solely on the scalp and not a product that you work through to the lengths of the hair.

Hair colors worse nightmare!

I have used this faithfully for at least 3 months and here is what I have figured out. If you color you hair you need to wait 10 days post color to use. If you don't all the money you just spend to have your hair colored is down the drain. Even if you wait 10 days post color this product is still going to fade your color quickly. Some people may have a different experience but not me. I also will add that my grey is very stubborn and I am on a 5 week color maintenance with my girl. Best of luck if you try this!

My Hair is Thick Again!

I've had breast cancer a couple of times, and this time I have to stay on an oral chemo-type drug. Menopause, the illness and the drug cause hair loss. My hair had become thin, wimpy, and looked as unhealthy as I felt.I've been using the three products of Nioxin 4 since 2020. My hair is thick and lovely and now. Even my stylist comments on it. I will use these products for the rest of my life.It's not a quick fix, but well worth the routine if you want beautiful thick hair without added hormones.

Nioxin Hair Starter Kit System 4 for Coloured Treated Hair with Progressed Thinning

This product which was recommended to me by a hair professional. I have thinning hair because of my age and I have coloured my hair for over 40 years. You only need to use a pea sized quantity of the shampoo as it lathers. It has a fresh green almost chemical smell but is not unpleasant. The conditioner is quite thin but I felt my regular conditioner was clogging my hair. Finish off with the scalp mouse which I applied to my center parting. My hair felt clean and silky. I also take zinc and magnesium supplements. I have only used the product a few times so we will see the results after a month.

I wash my hair every three days and use a blow dryer and hair straightener so I’m very conscious of using hair products to nourish and protect my hair to prevent it from becoming too dry. The products are made in Mexico.The Cleanser Shampoo has a thick gel-like consistency, pale green in colour, with a lovely mint scent. I always double wash but use less shampoo on the second wash. I find with this shampoo I don’t need much at all to work up a lovely foamy lather on my short hair. The shampoo rinses out easily enough. After shampooing, my hair doesn’t feel soft and silky but I can still run my fingers through my hair to separate the strands.The Scalp Therapy Revitalising Conditioner is white and creamy with a medium consistency. Again it has that lovely mint scent which I love. The conditioner is easy to apply all over my hair and, after leaving it to soak in for a few minutes, it rinses out really well. My hair then feels softer than after the shampooing process, but not silky soft, and not matted. I always squeeze the water out of my hair with a towel (rather than rubbing it) to prevent breakage and frizz which rubbing can cause.The Scalp & Hair Treatment comes in a small pump bottle. It is a foam product, again with that lovely minty smell. The idea is to massage the foam over the scalp but I’ve only been using it on one side of my head (the thinning hair side) to see if there is any noticeable difference at the end of the trial period.I don’t put a brush or comb near my hair until I blow dry it to about 80% dry. I then continue blow drying my hair while styling it with a ceramic brush. I then use a hair straightener to finish the process. I notice that on the side where I have applied the treatment my hair is a bit stiffer which helps with the styling process because my hair is then more inclined to stay in place.The results after four weeks: I believe the products are working for me. My thinning side is a bit thicker and stronger and hopefully with continued use this will increase. Because the products have helped with styling I’m less concerned that my hair won’t separate in the thinner areas. I’d consider purchasing these products if I continue to see improvement. Cost wise it’s not too bad because even though the bottles aren’t large I don’t need much product so they would last quite a while.

Well I can say I am pleasantly surprised by this product. I was a bit sceptical but after reading about it I was keen to try as there are 2 sections in particular that are visibly thinner than the rest of my hair (since having my babies) and I can't hide it.The instructions are easy to follow and the bottles are definitely a good size to be able to test out the product. I still have quite a bit left but can definitely see a difference.The shampoo, conditioner and treatment all smell so nice (I was worried it would have a chemical sort of smell) but it was a very refreshing peppermint scent which was so nice and felt very relaxing to use.
