Nitecore NPB2 10000mAh Waterproof Power Bank

Excellent power source with the added bonus of being able to withstand the rain. Its width and weight makes it quite stable when it’s standing upright too.

NPB2 works well. The usb A ports fit quite tightly stopping accidental removals. The only issues is that the charging port for the NPB2 is a micro usb port, would be nice to have a usb c port. Other than that the units feels robust and well made.

This unit is perfect! it runs my GPS receiver antenna mounted on a backpack for field work all day and with out a worry when it starts to rain. as with all Nitecore products they are really solid feeling and well built. I have the NPB1 as well and it is also a great unit! very please with the service from auspowerbanks and speed of delivery was really fast! thanks

Compact

This is an impressive 10,000mAh power, utilizing two 21700 Li-ion batteries, that is capable of charging two devices. I have used it to fully charge my Note 9 which was at 35% and the NPB2 had a remaining power to still charge a smaller electronic device. Given its compact design, weight, and the waterproof features, this power source resides in my EDC bag.

Great for what it is and provides good water protection, would be better if it has USB-C port instead of micro USB

NPB2 Initial Impressions

Recently received my NPB2. I purchased it after previously purchasing the Nitecore NPB1 power bank. According to my scale it is at 10,000mAH about 8 grams heavier than the combined weight of two NPB1 5000MAH power banks, and is just slightly longer, less than 1/8". I put it in pail of cold water for a few minutes to test its water resistance and it, like the NPB1 I own, appears to be water resistant. I have noticed that most of my USB cables do not fully seat flush into the unit as they did in the NPB1 but that being said the cables still function normally.

Nice product w/ limitations

I bought this hoping the described batteries were removable so I could use them in my LR60 lantern. They are not removable.The description is clear but does not specify whether or not the batteries are interchangeable. I’m not sure if they can be replaced.I like the multifunctional character of many of the products…built in chargers, compatible w/ multiple battery types, replaceable batteries, etc. This unit appears to be a higher quality version of a battery brick. I’ve been through low quality bricks in the past and have had best luck with Panasonic cells. I think nitecore batteries are probably high quality but haven’t had it long enough to make a determination

Power to spare.

I purchased the head lamp that uses this battery type. It was the 5000mah battery. Works very well, and with the custom slot and catch it stays firmly attached during hard use.Having this extra power battery will be great, you can never be to prepared onSHTF day...

Still testing

Advertised to recharge phone 3 times. I got 1 1/2 charges out of it on 1st use. Used FSP30 panel to recharge will try again.
