Nitecore Thumb Leo Compact LED Keychain Light

I got this as a birthday gift from my Sir. This is surely one of the best mini torch to have. It is light-weight, sturdy, and can last a long time without having to charge frequently. After owning this thumb torch for 3 years now, it made me more sure that nitecore products are simply great and well-designed to suit every individual needs. When my friend said she wanted a self-defense item for travel purpose, I immediately thought of nitecore lights. The brightness of this thumb is definitely higher than mobile phone lights too. I would also recommend TIKI if anyone wants to purchase it as a gift for others!

Was looking for something toWas looking for something to Light and click onto running shorts. Saw the video demo. Tot this item suits. Yes it did. Have not try running in the night in park connector. Did use it to search for dropped items in car. Effective.Only one drawback: the heat from the bulbs. First few time use it did not know the heat is quite hot.

Received it super quick after the order.Light is exactly what I hoped for. A combination of an ambient light for working and uv light to 'charge' up the lumo fishing lures. Great product with the reassurance of reliability from the brand.

Wonderful little light...Especially when in need, this little torch delivers! And with the added features, this makes it a very versatile torchlight! with the clip, I can even clip it on my bicycle helmet and use it when my bicycle lights are out, both front or back! Definitely, a good purchase, and will recommend others who are looking for a handy torch, like this.

Never felt so easy to see in the darkClip on breast pocket, You’ll have an extra hand taking charge of lighting for you to view documents and use phone at the same time! Or maybe you dropped something under your seat in the car? Thumb LEO got you. With the UV light, I’m able to see stuffs that naked eye can’t. Best thing is it’s long lasting, available anytime anywhere.

Light, Compact, Bright & Very HandyBought this with my upcoming In-Camp Training in mind. It's lighter and brighter than the Army-issued torch, and more flexible and versatile. Only thing is I can't put a red filter on it. The red light works well, but is meant more for signalling and close-quarter use. In any case, it's worked well in everyday life too. I've had it on my keychain, and it's been useful in a couple of minor emergencies, and I've brought it rock-climbing while on holiday. Used it to navigate through a cave. This light was brighter than the instructor's. I also accidentally left it in my pocket and went swimming with it, and it still works fine, though I don't think it's a good idea to do this regularly. Pretty much the best $49 I've spent on a light, ... MoreLight, Compact, Bright & Very HandyBought this with my upcoming In-Camp Training in mind. Versatile Secondary LightI got a thumb during the recent promo and have been impressed so far. It's really versatile. I've brought it for my night walks, and also used it as a reading light at night. I also attached it to a cap and passed to to the wife to use as a head lamp so that she could work on her sewing machine (old Singers don't come with a light) at night too. I'd buy a thumb updated version in a heartbeat.

Great

Bought this to replace my Peli light. As it wouldn't turn off sometimes. This is better that the Peli as the light is brighter and it turns off with a switch and not just a flip down like the Peli. The only draw back is that I've had to turn the light upside down to fit it to the klickfast socket on my jacket as the angle does not go far enough to light up me writing in my book. The black light came in very handy when looking for fluids at night. Fast charge.. the cilp on the back of the light should perhaps be able to be attached at both ends when you turn the light upside down as I have fear of the light falling off. All in all I impressed so far

Middling performance... Charging port cover issue.

I am not sure if the UV led in this torch is the same as the one in the much more expensive MH27 and CU6, but the performance seemed not so great. Maybe I had unreasonably high expectations after reading reviews/seeing some amazing photographs for the bigger ones online. That aside, my rating is mainly due to the rubber cover for the charging port not staying in place. Without a proper seal, the IP65 rating is pretty much meaningless. Maybe I got a lemon.

Perfect Pocket Light

This light is a perfect standby. Small and light enough you could forget that it's in your pocket until you need a light. It isn't incredibly bright, but in most cases where I need a brighter light, I would already have one. It's a lot nicer than trying to perform any task by the light of a cell phone, and doesn't drain that vital resource. The UV light is intense, focused, and easy to activate. The flash mode is sure to grab attention, and is accessible with the push of a button. The fact that this light can clip to the bill of a hat to function as a headlamp means I'll be buying at least one to give as a gift in the near future.
