Nivea Hydro Care Lip Balm 4.8 G

I too have others have said peeled dry skin of my lips till they have blead, I used this and after 3 days my lips are perfect, clear, no sticky, buttery soft no bad taste. i love it only balm that has worked for me and iv liked long enough to continue putting it on I'm kinda addicted. I think the white marks and yellow ones must be off cause mine is white and goes on clear and clump and colour free. iv tried the pearly shine one I didn't like that one my one was a gritty feeling but yes didn't ghost tried another and I have a new fave my lips thankyou Cairns F. My skin and lips get extremely dry and painful in certain weather conditions - after trying tonnes of different lip balms this one is the most hydrating, fast acting and lightweight feeling. There is no excessive or unnatural scent, just subtle and does not feel too thick whilst wearing. Packaging and scent are always pleasing. I feel that mine last a long time despite using it several times a day. The SPF component is such a bonus. LOVE these lip balms!

The packaging is light and typical of any lip balm. Not sure spf15 is enough but also typical of any lip balm. Overall it's OK. The texture is silky smooth but feels a bit heavy on the lips. The smell is light but it still tastes too artificial. Did nothing for my dry lips although it's only been a week of use. Def be going back to my Dermal lipbalms, they feel smooth but lighter and almost tasteless and keeps my lips hydrated longer.

Changed formula

Gutted is an understatement. I have been a fan of Nivea lip balms for years. Specifically the dark blue original and the hydro care one. I have been using this product for two years now and it was my absolute favourite and I wore it every day. As someone who has naturally dry and sensitive skin I really thought I had found a product that I could use forever. As you can imagine, with my skin type, I can’t just adapt to anything. The old formula was amazing, it moisturised my lips and if I wore it overnight, I’d wake up with super soft, hydrated lips. You just couldn’t fault it in my opinion. If you have to change the formula, why can’t you sell both?

Disappointed by this product.

I bought this a few weeks ago as I lost my other (more expensive) lip balm.I heard some good reviews of Nivea and decided to try this lip balm. Swayed by the cheap price.On application, it feels fine. However, as it dries down it makes my lips feel rather dry/ crusty.My main grievance with this lip balm is the taste/ fragrance. This goes into my mouth and leaves a really strong, lingering taste. Every time you sip a drink or eat, you'll get the taste of this in the background.I have tried several lip balms in the past 2 years and will not be reaching back for this in the shops.

Formula change??

I have used nivea hydro care for as long as I know to the point where please know me for always having it with me. I did my monthly shop of 2x hydro cares over the weekend from my local Woolworths in Townsville and i was disappointed to experience a completely different product. The lipbalm is yellow not like the usual white and its soft hits of vanilla flavour just taste like Vaseline. I am not sure if there was a batch issue as i bought two and both have the same issue or if the formula has changed. If its the latter I would be very disappointed in saying that you have lost a 3year loyal customer
