This is my 100th review dedicated to [brand:nivea] who along with [brand:influenster] sent me the for free in exchange of a genuine review! I’ve used it every day since I got it a couple of weeks ago. I haven’t seen any improvements so far even thought it says that you’ll see firmer-feeling skin in 10 days, then again, products don’t work wonders from day to night so I will keep using it until I reach the last drop and will update my reviews if this changed. I use this Nivea moisturizer every single day. It is a little thicker than some other lotions but it does rub in very easily. It has the standard light Nivea scent that is not overpowering. I have eczema on my elbows, hands and feet and this does a great job moisturizing. I do not get any irritation from this formula either. I recommend for those with dry skin!

Fragrance ruins it :(

This is by no means a miracle worker. It’s a decent (and affordable) everyday lotion. I do like the way it makes my skin feel, BUT it’s almost like I’ve put on a primer; my skin is velvety soft, but in a coated, temporary way. It’s definitely NOT “thick” or “intensely healing” in any way, but it keeps my skin moisturized. HOWEVER, I won’t be purchasing this again, because (as other reviews say) the fragrance is awful. It’s a cheap perfume chemical smell, and it’s way too strong. (WHY have they added this fragrance?? Why, Nivea.) I’ll slowly finish the rest of this bottle, but I can only use it on my legs because I have to keep the smell as far away from my face as I can manage. I hope they switch back to the old formula people seem to have loved so much.

Helped my dry peeling hands

I had dry, scaly, and peeling hands due to excessive hand washing and hand washing my dishes using hot water. I will admit that I was careless with protecting my hands. Prior to using Nivea, I used O'Keeffe's Working Hands hand cream which only provided temporary relief and left a chalky residue on my clothes. I used Gold Bonds healing hand cream which didn't provide me with deep hydration. I also used Aquaphor Healing Ointment which was absolutely horrible and greasy. Nivea has helped repair my hands. I no longer have peeling skin. I currently have a couple of bottles around my home so I don't forget to moisturize. I am happy with the current state of my hands.

LOVE THIS IT'S A LIFE CHANGER, after so many years of cracked hands!

I love this product! It healed my hands which were very very cracked and bloody and are know almost fully healed! Would totally recommend! It also healed my face after using Serave products that burned and made my face dry and super irritated, I switched over to Nivea after that, and I completely love this product and healed my face! So natural and nice 10/10 would recommend!

My skin is terrible and this stuff actually works

I have horribly dry skin, especially on my hands. I also have a lot of allergies, so most scented lotions leave me even worse off. It cracks open all the time, it's itchy, it's painful. I've tried dozens of different types of lotion, including the expensive creams that come in a jar and say they're for extremely dry skin, and with most of them, I need to put some on my hands every couple hours or I'll be in pain again. I bought this at a Dollar General assuming I would blow through this bottle in about two weeks like every other one. But my skin actually feels better. I'm only using it about once or twice a day, which I know is a lot for a 72 hour formula, but for my skin, that's so much of an improvement. Obnoxious scent

I read the reviews on this before I purchased this. There were mixed reviews on the fragrance, so I decided to give it a chance anyway. I would describe the scent as clean and powdery. Unfortunately, it is a sort of obnoxious smell that lingers for a very long time. I wash my hands a lot and can still smell it on my skin. Will be returning it.

Smells SO bad!

The lotion itself was good- very moisturizing and not greasy or sticky at all. The scent however, is terrible! I don’t even know how to accurately describe it. Kind of like a weird fake perfume/chemical/plastic-y smell? It lasts for a while too. Will be returning. If it weren’t for the scent, I would have definitely kept it.

Will not buy again

VERY heavy and sticky… for at least 30-40 minutes after use. Uncomfortable to put on clothing after since it is such a thick lotion, it doesn’t feel like it absorbs. I usually put it on at night and my skin already looks like it needs more by morning. I wouldn’t recommend. Scent in just a neutral lotion smell. Doesn’t bother me but it’s nothing special.
