I was dubious to this product, especially with the added caffeine, it seemed something that would be gimmick-y to be honest. In addition, I have found in "Men's" product of things like moisturiser, often the quality goes down, and is on par with low quality women's moisturiser, just with a more masculine smell. However, I've been very impressed. The moisturising effect is noticeable quickly, not oily or sticky. The smell is a little strong, but not offputting, overall I could see this being one of the products I regularly purchase, though I'd like to keep using it longer until the end of this demo product at least and see if any issues occur from regular daily use.

Received the bottle and liked the clean way it twisted to open. The smell was fresh and fruity. It didn't feel too greasy so applied well. First application felt tingly. Not sure if that was due to the caffeine or not, but died down shortly after and over the next few uses. Did it make me look less tired? It would be silly to expect a cream costing £5-10 to produce the results that injectable fillers costing several hundred pounds would give. Hence it should only be considered a pleasant smelling standard moisturiser. I think my only issue for long term use would be the lack of SPF. Perhaps it could be used as a night cream as using my normal moisturiser with SPF at night would be a clear waste.

PROS * The packaging is great. The rotating lid is easy to use and means you're not messing about unscrewing caps. * I loved the scent. It's not often you get a men's product that doesn't have a musky 'manly' scent, but this is fresh and my wife loved it too. * A little goes a long way. The consistency of the moisturiser is light. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave the face looking greasy. CONS * I would have liked to see an SPF in there. * It doesn't say how much you should use but a little goes a long way and I found that half a pump was enough to cover the face. * There are some ingredients in there which may irritate those with super-sensitive skin - Mainly the fragrance ingredients.

I have used lots of different moisturisers from £3-£50. I have dry skin and like a natural (non moisturised) look so I prefer easily absorbed products. Unisex, men’s women’s doesn’t matter as long as they are pleasant to use, easily absorbed and leave no residue. This product was fine but quite gloopy. Smell was pleasant enough. Mechanical type packaging. Clearly designed for straight guys. It was pretty good, I will use the rest but honestly I wouldn’t choose it over an alternative/cheaper product like Nivea Pure & Natural. For regular guys with male typical (combination) skin this product is a winner. Well done Nivea!
Overall really good. The twist head pump top is great for me. No chance of the top popping open in my gym bag. You only need one press and and that is plenty, giving long lasting, great value. As for the feel of my skin, it's been baking hot here, and usually I find that heat and moisturisers make my skin oily, but this was great. The moisturised feel was great through the day and feels great after a shave. Genuinely last all day and night. Great work nivea
I thoroughly recommend “Nivea men skin energy“ the pump looks stylish, easy to use and the twist click lock takes care of any excess moisturiser so there is no mess and hard clumps. I have oily skin so have to be careful when buying creams, this works great! Leaves my skin smooth and with a slight glow. The product smells great and makes you feel really clean and fresh! The best part of this product for me is it’s ease of use, less than 10 seconds from picking it up to walking away. No need to wash your hands after use either as this has been a problem with other moisturisers in the past! I will be buying this product!!!

The cream itself is a slightly yellowed cream that doesn't look like something that will do good things for my face. I used it a number of times, early morning, before bed and also just after showers too. Each application never really felt like it was doing me any favours. The consistency of the cream made my whole face feel quite greasy rather than re-energised or refreshed. There are other face creams I have used that quite clearly make my face feel remarkably different, but this didn't. I want my face creams and products to feel special, because I'm choosing to spend my money of this sort of ... For any moisturiser you do need a longer period to test. The below are initial opinions. Packaging- twist cap feels slightly cheap but ultimately doesn't have that much of an impact on the product. Pump in comparison is great. Application - feels slightly greasy initially however really settles in to the skin well. Feel - makes you feel fresher definitely and as it settles in to the skin you don't have to worry about looking so greasy. Very similar to one I use with a key competitor and I use on a regular basis. Would recommend if you're looking for an alternative.
Used it daily since I received it, and it's made a great difference to the feel of my skin. Its also really refreshing as soon as you use it, a great part of my morning routine. Immediately makes my skin feel alive, fresh and awake. Entirely Depending on the price point when it reaches the shops, it is a definite contender for replacement of my current L'Oreal Men Expert Hydra Energetic; If it's cheaper, it's my new moisturiser, if it's more expensive, then it's a great supplement if I can't source my usual.
