I’ve been using this shower gel for many years and didn’t use anything else. It just worked, it lathered well, had a pleasant fragrance, was good value for money and great for my sensitive skin. That was until a little green sticker appeared saying it was a new biodegradable formula. It doesn’t lather as well anymore which means you end up using far more than you used to. Countless others have noticed the same, I really hope that the people at Nivea are reading these comments and taking notice so that you can go back to the previous tried and tested product. I’m sure many like me are looking for an alternative!

I have been suffering with dried out skin from certain shower gels. I tend to lean towards the 3 in 1 due to being a little lazy, not wanting to use several bottles of product. Nivea have provided a nice all in one, body, face and hair which I found to leave my skin quite surprisingly smooth after showering. I might even say, hydrated. It has a nice, organic smell and nice feel, comes to a nice lather, especially when using a shower puff. I’m yet to see anything else on the market that offers this type of product. The bottle itself, is a standard Nivea bottle and doesn’t offer anything new in style. But all in all, I think it’s quite a good product.

The smell was pleasant, a little citrus and although the gel seemed quite thin in comparison to my previous shower gels it lathered well and i enjoyed the experience. It also washed off easily and decided to use it as suggested to clean my hair as well as the rest of my body. After the shower I felt that although the gel may not have left my skin quite as dry as some shower gels, it dried out my hairline quite severely and I did have to use moisturising cream afterwards to ease my face and hairline. I do suffer a little from dry skin at times on my face where it feels tight after showering so was a little disappointed Nivea Men Sensitive didn't work as well as I'd hoped. But it was better than some.

I decided to write a review after reading some of the other negative reviews of the new formula of this product. I actually found this men's sensitive gel with the biodegradable formula to be ok. It didn't make my skin itch or come over blotchy - actually my skin felt quite good after use - not dry or tight. The negative part I found was that it doesn't really lather like a shower gel - its more of a shower cream or conditioner so you don't really get that shower clean feeling. Smell is ok - a bit non descript. I've given it 3 stars as I found it ok but not great and now I've switched to the Nivea Men Energy shower gel which lathers well and smells good as well.
As you age the skin can start to dry out. I was pleased to find this product some years ago and have been using it exclusively ever since. Well until the little green tag that said it had been reformulated appeared. Gone is that lovely soft feeling of my skin. When using the product it just doesn't feel right, in fact I wonder sometimes if it is achieving anything. This was a brilliant product ruined by this move. maybe someone thought men will accept anything. Well this one has gone elsewhere.

I have used nivea men shower gel products in the past but have never seen this one before. I liked the bottle design and the smell. First impressions were all good. Loved the almost marbled look of the shower gel when I poured it from the bottle. Looked really classy! I found the nivea men shower gel foamed up really nicely and the foam lasted for the full duration of my shower with no issues. The smell when using was a lovely clean smell! My skin afterwards felt lovely and soft and incredibly clean. I am certainly going to purchase this shower gel again. Very happy.
This is yet another great product from a solid and dependable men's toiletries brand. Nivea Men have created a shower gel that manages to feel luxurious whilst doing the job you expect it to do. The shower gel did not cause any skin irritation and certainly didn't cause my skin to dry out. It has a pleasant fresh, yet masculine scent that I have now come to expect from Nivea Men products. I would fully recommend this to any fella wanting to keep clean and smell decent, but especially anyone that might find other products cause their skin irritation.
What can I say, this describes itself as having a "no dry skin feeling" and it delivers so well. It gives a fantastic clean with a light scent that gives a great clean - and to top it all my skin feels softer,moisturized and soothed, the little patches where I am prone to dry skin are not showing at all. I was a bit sceptical that a 3 in 1 product would give a decent clean to my hair but again I was surprised if left my hair feeling clean,soft and without the residue you sometimes get on hair when using a 3 in 1 product. I also like that this is a 99% biodegradable formulation in a bottle that is 97% recycled materials. All in all, this product is a winner and will going into my shopping list!
I have been using this product for years it’s been absolutely amazing and now you have changed the formula to a new biodegradable one. Why?? The new formula is very very bad. It makes the skin feel like rubber. Was this product tested before it was released to the public. I now have to look for a new brand unless you go back to the old formula. Why change a really good product to a really bad one. So upset!!!!!!
