I managed to get to test the Nivea Sun Protect & Moisture Lotion and I am so happy with the results. The first thing I noticed is it’s not too greasy, the application and coverage was really smooth and very easy to use.I am normally quite particular over what suncream I use on my face because it can be too oily and brings me out in spots. After being happy with how it felt on my body I figured I would try it on my face. Again I was really pleased with the product, it felt like a lightweight moisturiser. It wasn’t oily and it doesn’t leave your face all shiny.And how did it stand up to the sun? Well I was out in the heat of the sun and I am fair skinned, but I didn’t get any sunburn. Horrible. First time I’ve ever felt strongly enough about a product to right a review. Have used Nivea Protect & Bronze for years but this year I couldn’t get it so bought this instead. Awful stuff. It takes ages to rub in and then once you think it’s soaked in and dried if you touch it or rub against anything it peels off in little bits and looks awful! I will be throwing away the 4 unopened bottles! The 1 star is because I didn’t burn.

Have to agree that this product is awful. It takes ages to apply, really stains clothes and it just constantly flakes making you covered in white bits. Just using it on holiday now and having to repeatedly shower and scrub to remove. Not like other nivea products at all!

Applying this lovely smelling lotion is like trying to rub runny honey into my skin, but eventually I manage it. Once it dries there is only the slightest hint of a white caste on my skin. The trouble starts when I sweat or go for a swim, suddenly the Titanium Dioxide becomes visible, it looks as if I am sweating milk! I can avoid the “sweating milk” look by not doing anything that might make me sweat, or avoiding swimming (no big deal for me personally...). The protection given by this lotion is second to none, my family has been using Nivea Sun for protection for years (even before I was born, I am 24). Usually i'm satisfied with Nivea. But this suncream is just bad.After puting it on it will peel of. I tried to put it on my shoulder 3 times and still got a intens sunburn.I prefer eco-friendly products, but in this case it doesn't fulfill the purpose.

The lotion is thick and creamy, giving greater coverage and maximum moisture - without leaving your skin feeling greasy or sticky. It absorbs into skin easily, leaving behind a beautiful scent and a velvety feeling. A small to moderate amount goes a long way, so you don't end up with a giant puddle of white watery liquid in your palm as with most sun protection creams with half of the bottle gone after one application. I always carry Nivea Sun Protect & Moisture Lotion SPF30 in my bag. I use it during the summer months even in cloudy weather. It is really easy and quick to apply anywhere and anytime. It does not leave any greasy feeling on my skin and absorbs quickly, like any lotion. It protects my skin perfectly. I did not get any sunburn this year and I already have a light tan. Nivea Sun protects me from sun damage and early ageing. I also love it's nice summery fragrance.
Not sure why so many people recommend this product. It's so bad! Think everyone just goes for the name. If people tried this without knowing what it was they would avoid at all costs. I've used this while away in Portugal and used generously every couple of hours and still burnt and I’m dark with dark eyes. My advice to anyone thinking of using this would be to avoid it. So annoyed with them!
I used this when i went to greece last August for my honeymoon. The sun was hot and fiece whilst there. When applying this cream you only need small amounts to rub in , otherwise it becomes a bit of a mess and end up looking like casper the friendly ghost. Otherwise this is great, factor 30 is perfect for mine and my husbands skin types, as we have a natrual dark tone. We re applied every couple hours . Easy squeeze bottle , so no silly frantic shaking trying to some out. .
AMAZING- the amount you receive in the bottle lasts a long time and it does not smell bad whatsoever- It does not cause skin irritation which has happened to me in the past.- The thing I love about this the most is that it dries up quickly into the skin and does not leave a sticky feeling. If you are looking to buy this for on holiday then I would recommend as it is the perfect size for a big family.On the other hand, this is just my opinion but ÂŁ8.50 for 1 bottle is a bit overpriced and it might make buyers like me contemplate whether or not to purchase this again.
