No7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Day Cream 50 ml

I was super happy when I learned I would be getting this to try as I was needing a moisturizer with SPF. That said, my expectations were still pretty neutral because so many moisturizers with SPF just fail to be pleasant on so many levels -- too heavy, unbearable scent, weird white cast, pilling!, you know what I'm talking about. Enter No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Fragrance Free Day Cream SPF30. I opened the jar and took a whiff -- It smelled so good and not the tell-tale sunscreen scent we all know and tolerate. I did do a double take to see if I had actually received the fragrance-free version which according to the labeling I did. Ok well, it may be fragrance free but it does have a scent albeit a pleasant one. Ok well, it may be fragrance free but it does have a scent albeit a pleasant one. To me, It has some kind of sweet spice aroma to it almost like nutmeg but not exactly. Not what I was expecting of a fragrance free product but yet really pleasant. Now then to the cream itself and how it got it right! The cream has a light texture, very soft like. After dabbing some on it spreads and absorbs very easily -- no tugging or pulling trying to get it to sink in and disappear. And no pilling (I hate pilling with a passion)! After applying, my skin looks fresh and subtly radiant, not greasy at all. Of note, I have dry skin type and I did feel a need some days for additional hydration maybe also due to the fact that I have been using the retinol night cream in tandem. For me that isn't a problem, I often moisturize and hydrate my skin in layers as needed. What I appreciate most about this No7 spf 30 day cream is that it has been so easy to apply. I love how soft this cream is on my skin. And being that retinol makes your skin extra sensitive to sun exposure I'm glad to have found a great day cream with spf so I can be protected on my morning walk or driving and running errands mid-day.

I've onky recently joined the No.7 site, but I've been purchasing the Lift & Luminate line of moisturizers, Booster Serum, cleaning wipes ad of course Lift & Luminate foundation for probably 8 years, at least. THERE IS NOTHING BETTER OUT THERE. That's from a 73 yr old gal. I grew up and throughout most of my life, used Max Factor shimmering foundation. Then it disappeared and I was lost. I discovered No. 7 (BOOTS, of course) & found that connection with my loved Max Factor Shim. I love this. Don't ever leave. No. 7.

I need to start off by saying this review comes from someone with a USER ERROR. I received this a month and a half ago from #influenster free for my review and I wanted to love this SO much. I actually DID LOVE this product… for two weeks. I used it everyday like the instructions told me to. I put it on as my morning moisturizer. The problem is my skin has never used retinal before. I was given 5 retinal products to use from influenster and my skin started to flare up. My the time I reached two weeks my face burned so bad I had to stop all the products including this one. I stopped using this and haven’t used it since. I’m sure it would be fine now but I’m 32 and don’t really need retinal so I’ll probably pass this along to my mom with a firm caution to not use ... MoreI need to start off by saying this review comes from someone with a USER ERROR. The formula is so creamy and when I used it I was obsessed with this. I rated this 4 stars because the issue was with me using it so much before my skin was ready for it. This was my favorite of the items I was given. It’s unscented so I loved that too! All in all I wanted to love it and I’ll probably revisit it soon enough to see if I can transition it to my daily routine.
