Replaced the helix fans on my swift h-240x with these. Shift a really impressive amount of air and have much better static pressure. These are also water resistant (handy if the worst should happen) and are far better looking than those hideous beige fans they're famous for. Chromax accessory (coloured corners) are available separately and add a touch of customisation.Be aware though that the leads on these fans are rather short and extension cables are not included (available separately). I did find however that they were long enough to route round my H-240X to the PWM controller in an enthoo primo case.

Quality:Using 2 of these pulling as an intake through a corsair H110 (the original fans had that horrible bearing rattle they are known for). These are very impressive, people have written at length on the internet about noctua quality, and I now understand why, very high build quality, solid, those rubberised corners seem to work very well, and the braiding on the cable is rubberised which is really nice to work with. Even the packaging is nice.Noise:2000rpm is gonna be audible no matter how you do it. I find the noise from these at full tilt more tollerable than any other fan I have used yet. You can hear the motor, but I had some xigmateks years ago that went up to 1100 and they had horible phase noise from the motors. Put it this way, I was watching snooker ... MoreQuality:Using 2 of these pulling as an intake through a corsair H110 (the original fans had that horrible bearing rattle they are known for). That aside, I managed to hit 75 degrees C (and inevitable shutdown) using stock fans in pull mode after 20mins of Prime95. Put these on, same configuration, reached 58 degrees after 20 mins, 59 degrees after 45 mins. Nice to know they have the extra cooling ability if needed. It is in Idle to medium load situations where these fans show how good they really are. They flow so much air through a radiator at medium to low speeds that they can run ~200-300RPM slower than the stock fans. Might not sound much but the difference between 1000rpm and 1200rpm is pretty audible. I can hear my mechanical hard drive over them. Its not silent, but having the window open is louder...In conclusion, worth every penny. Perfom as well as I had expected, given the price. (and they arent the usual noctua brown!)

I will buy several more fans to upgrade my system and another system I also have. I will recommend this fan to others. I am using several different Noctua fans - 120mm and 140mm fans with great results. I use them for both liquid coolers and case fans to give me the best cooling for my systems

I have this fan set up as an exhaust fan in my Thermaltake Level 10 GT case. I have it throttled down to 70% which yields 1,456rpm's according to my BIOS. Close enough to the actual 70% of the fan's full speed. At this speed, for me, is the perfect blend of cooling ability and fan noise. It's not loud, but you know it's there. Also, it's not flashy with LED's and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. Some people like having LED's on every single piece of hardware in their system. Not me, so this fits perfectly for those who want a great quality and humble fan that performs well that's also resistant to dust and water.
-Runs on my wife's computer at 1800 RPM instead of the 2,000 Advertised -Costs the same as the 3,000 RPM Non PWM NFA14 IPPC however this one does have Pulse Wave Modulation (PWM) so that does make up for the price difference. being able to smoothly control the fan speeds on this is another great plus! -I also own the 3000 RPM Non PWM Version and I have to say that I like this Fan here that I have on my wife's computer is better then the 3000 RPM Non PWM Fan that I am using at least in the noise department! -So Yeah no complaints these fans make great case and cpu fans so yes buy these as fast as you can they are worth every penny and then some!
I watched many video reviews on these and read many reviews before deciding on these fans. Supposedly, the three phase motor ramps up and down much better than single phase motors when controlled by PWM. I've read that many PWM fans produce a clicking noise when running at low RPM. No such problem with these fans. I'm extremely picky about my gear and am very happy with this purchase.
I bought three of these to replace the standard three 140mm fans in a Corsair 750D. It was a bit of a fiddle to install them as the 4 pin leads are too short to reach some of the fan headers. They are not supplied with an extension. Given the obvious need to vary the fan header dependent on purpose this is a shortcoming and has cost them one star. Compared to the Corsair fans supplied these three reduced the Front Base CPU temp report by two degrees. They are also quieter than the supplied fans and can take advantage of the motherboards bios control. Well worth the money even if you have to source extensions for the leads.
I bought 8 of these for my Phanteks Primo SE case, they look very dull with an awkward dull red anti-vibration pads BUT I have gotten use to them and now I really like them.Their performance is very good, I control mine through Corsair Link and they have a low idle of 500rpm which is as silent as you can get while still pushing air!The PWM 3 phase motors ticking away was irritating at first but have got use to it, now that I am typing this I don't think I can hear them perhaps they have "bed-in"...2000RPM, don't go there without a fan controller unless you are trying to achieve a max OC and benchmarking because that is way too loud for anything other than. I set all mine at 900rpm when gaming and thats it, good noise/performance ratio.Very expensive but you ... MoreI bought 8 of these for my Phanteks Primo SE case, they look very dull with an awkward dull red anti-vibration pads BUT I have gotten use to them and now I really like them.Their performance is very good, I control mine through Corsair Link and they have a low idle of 500rpm which is as silent as you can get while still pushing air!The PWM 3 phase motors ticking away was irritating at first but have got use to it, now that I am typing this I don't think I can hear them perhaps they have "bed-in"...2000RPM, don't go there without a fan controller unless you are trying to achieve a max OC and benchmarking because that is way too loud for anything other than. If you like most people want nice looking fans that can probably push the same amount of air and have some LEDs there are plenty in the market... Chose wisely!
Purchased to replace two stock 140 Corsair fans that came with H115i. After about 16 months, the default fans started to get obnoxiously loud while no-longer capable of cooling my i7 5930k fast enough which resulted in my core temps getting to 100C at around 90% load while running at 2500RPM! My only regret is not purchasing these sooner and allowing my poor i7 to suffer as long as it did with the cheap Corsair fans.
I bought this fan for an intake on an In Win 904 case. It is mounted horizontally in the bottom of the case as an intake and it makes a horrible ticking noise. I initially thought the blades might have pulled a stray cable into them. but nothing is touching them. I'm planning to return it tomorrow and try another fan unless I hear from Noctua or Newegg and they think perhaps I received a bad fan
