I used this to replace the hot-end fan on my Creality Ender 3 Pro 3D printer (via a DC-DC voltage converter to supply 5V to the fan). Its much, much quieter than the stock 4010 fan it replaced, but its not completely silent. Very impressed with build quality and accessories provided in the box.

Installed in the case of Powerman ME-100 60W to replace the standard fan, which is very noisy. On a regular place it did not turn out: rests against the motherboard power Board. Attached to the side cover. I had to drill a couple of holes.

I bought this to replace a noisy-by-design stock fan that shipped with my 48 port HP switch - installation was easy and now my home rack (which I try to keep as quiet as possible) isn't dominated by a switch fan
It is pricey, but it does its job perfectly. My 3D printer is a lot quieter now. The product comes nicely packaged and has a few cabling accessories for different connecting options. Got a similar one on my Octopi that has been running non stop for more than a year without issue.
Ive been installing these fans inside Solar controllers an RV converters for a long time. Due to their high efficiency, low noise and high reliability, they are perfect for this application. Reducing internal temperature is the best way to increase these expensive electronics lifespan. Highly recommended! Thanks
Nice and quite, pretty easy replacement in my switch and NVR. Decreased noise a lot, although did have to trim some venting on the NVR that was creating additional noise
Super silent even at full speed. I was blown away. Used it to replace the stock fans in my network switch.
At first, I didn't believe the 'hype' about these fans being 'silent'. I've used fans for many years now and many of them confess to being quite. These Noctua fans take it to a different level. Moving air is inherently noisy no matter which way you look at it, but those people in R&D need a clap! I've exchanged all my NOISY fans in my 3d printer and now, i could probably run a print job in a library !! The price seems 'steep' for a small 40mm fan, but my word they are outstanding. Also, included in the price you get all the mounting kit you could ever need, along with an abundant array of cables. Well done Noctua.
Compact and quiet. 1 such fan capable to cool and prolong life of the RAM modules, or CPU voltage regulators with ease. Fan comes with extention cable, Y splitter, low noise adapters (why PWM fan need them?), uniqe silicone anti vibration mounts, screws. All items of good quality.
