The product is Great! It does exactly what I want. I tested the product for power consumption and for reference I set the heater to 19 degrees for 1 hour in a enclosed 11m3 room at 14 degrees room temp and found the power output to be roughly 1.5 kw/h which on our bill would total around 40 cents per hour. I hope this helps as a general guideline.Other things to note, on first start there is a slight plastic'y' smell, I believe it's a coating on the heating element from manufacturing (completely normal). After that the quality of heat is really good in my opinion.

I was looking for something that could heat a large, open-plan room that's a bit of an odd shape (probably 25-30m2) and has quite high ceilings, and it does the job. You feel the most warmth when you're within a couple of metres of it, but you also notice a difference about 6m away.I should add that this for a large room in Sydney. I can't comment on colder climates.

When you dont need roaring heat but want the chill out of your room this is the best heater. Bedroom lovely and warm large lounge room just right. Wheel it from room to room. Warning though the casing gets hot so keep little fingers off it.
Great product that heats room quickly. My only negative is the on/off button dial, this could be larger so that the elderly could turn it more easily as it seems too close to frame of machine and people with arthritic fingers would find it awkward. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this heater - lifetime warranty is a real smelly. They obviously believe in their product.
The panel especially the back gets very hot. As in VERY. Otherwise even on the lowest setting it keeps a 20 square room super comfortable. No bill yet so we will see. We took the first one back due to how hot it was- no issues at the good guys - straight swap. Second one still hot, not ideal around kids. Noirot company phone service was not so good - but if you deal with good guys the service and warrant great and easy.

My other criticism was that the electronic control panel was too hard to read and difficult to remember how to program and you couldn't set the temperature. Well the latest one has a much simpler and easy to read and adjust panel with a temperature setting. So basically all the things I had issues with have been fixed. I absolutely love this heater. I purchased it for the office with the intent to take it away with me when we go camping in our caravan. It heats up very quickly and feels so nice and toasty. We have a reverse cycle airconditioner in the office but the heat from that is not pleasant. I prefer to use the Noirot as it has a radiant heat that feels so nice. It heats up a reasonably sized office very quickly and keeps it warm all day.
Good product made in France and suffices to heat the room. The convenience of wheeling it around room to room is a blesssing. Best used to warm small to medium sized spaces. I just wish the power dial was placed in a more convenient position.
Overall, extremely pleased with this purchase. Attracted by lifetime guarantee and the heat without fan aspects. Allow a few hours in large, high ceilings bedroom to reach temperature and dial to low heat for temperature control.. Highly recommend. Note electric cord is short and flavours one side. Extension cord and/or power boards not recommended by Noirot..
