Nokia 2660 Flip Dual Sim 2.8" 32GB - Lush Green

I love it. I now take this to work so im not tempted to procrastinate on my phone haha. Although sometimes i get lost in snake! Overall good sound quality in the phone. Photos are subpar but give that rustic artsy look so could make it work for you. Overall i like it and will continue using it

I was given this flip phone voxbox by influenster to try out and review. My reviews are always honest and now that that's out of the way here is my opinion :) I unfortunately don't seem more photos of the phone so I apologise for that but I can say I checked out this phone thoroughly and it wasn't too difficult to navigate, it has a radio so you can listen to music which I thought was neat. The phone came with headphones aswell it also had a couple games, I played the snake game which was how I remembered it. The buttons are a lot bigger than an average flip phone making it easier for people with poor eyesight or bigger fingers to use. I think this phone is great for a young person whose parents don't want them having a proper phone yet but want to be able to talk to them when they're out and about and it's excellent for people who don't want touch screen phones or really a phone to do much besides text and call so definitely good for older people or just as an emergency phone all in all it's good for what it is and for its price.

Honestly this was a moment of nostalgia. After using a flip phone for a week, I kinda am into it again. It's the perfect way to get back into focus and stop doom scrolling because you don't have unnecessary apps! I love it's ease of use. The volume is pretty loud on this thing, making it perfect for everyone, albeit the quality of audio could be better. The buttons too are bigger than older models of flip phones. It has all the basic functionality in a pretty pink package. Overall, I'm pretty pleased to go back to being old school!

A Nightmare to use

As an elderly person who previously used a 3G Aspera Flip phone, I found this phone difficult to use and especially see with the all black surrounds in the menu or navigating area of this phone. Also hated the method of input for letters and numbers as well as the phone being locked. There was no indication of this phone being locked when I saw it advertised online, and anyway I didn't even know what that meant until I got this phone. It was an absolute nightmare trying to get this phone unlocked and the rest, so much so that I returned the phone and received a refund!

A poor choice.

Purchased this as replacement for excellent 2720 (also from Officeworks but died after 15 months so no warranty). It's a dual SIM which I didn't want but didn't think mattered but it adds to screen clutter. Sound is clear and loud enough. Unlike 2720 no FM radio and playing recorded songs not as well organised. Shows received MMS but can't download and can't magnify. Try to select second MMS and the phone reboots. Weak ringer tones and volume control fades down to zero while in your pocket.

Bad design

Stay away from this phone if buying for a senior. Far too confusing and buttons in wrong positions. Volume and "go back" buttons can easily be pressed on unknowlingly. Volume button is right under where you hold the phone and it goes down and when texting, a return button is near to delete button and the text disappears and you have to repeat it all over again. There is no draft folder so you can't regain it. I cleared phone memory and the next day it was full again with so few texts! Not for seniors to work out it's quirks. I'm tossing it. (69yrs age)

Excellent flip phone

If you're looking for a simple flip phone without any smartphone features then this is a good choice. The operating system isn't trying to be android-lite. If you mostly want just calls and texts then this will do the job well. But if you need smartphone apps and features, then look for something else. The battery lasts reasonably well. And the alarms will work even if you like to turn your phone off at night. For me, this was one of the best phone purchases in many years.
