Perfect for worry-free phone use. I have a slight tendency to lose or break phones, so made the sqitch to this (and use a tablet for any app based programs). I had honestly lost it within three weeks, and bought another one, feeling both smug at my decision to limit my losses, and incredibly stupid for having lost it so quickly. I bought it as a cheap replaceable mobile only but it actually does plenty more very well. Phone has amazing battery life, even when using hotspot (which is plenty for tethered streaming) it lasts over 8 hours. It has google maps, basic twitter and youtube, and web browser, all more than enough for emergeny queries. The curve design is also amazing for fitting in a trouser pocket - why aren't more phone like this!

I needed to upgrade my aged mothers' mobile phone from 3G to 4G. She could NOT understand nor use regular SmartPhone interface. This phone is ideal for those not needing the latest WhizzBang Smartphone from the Majors. Easy to use, cool style, outstanding battery life, stand-out colour, rugged design and size make this ideal for the purpose I required. I am tempted to get one for myself, should my current SmartPhone need replacing. It may not be fit for purpose if you NEED big screen and all the bells and whistles, BUT, if you really just need a Mobile Phone that is easy to use and Fit for Purpose this is one for you to consider.

Really good old style mobile. Excellent battery life and a great everyday phone - not smartphone. I divert my iPhone to it so Im not pulling 1000+ worth of phone from my pocket in strange places. Some of the software will not really work - gmail, internet (it will open the browser but not much more). Not a fault of the phone but just that things have moved on. Music and radio are okay - takes a 32gb card and it has snake (result!) Divert your expensive phone to it and reap the benefits of nostalgia! Which include a battery life of more than 12 hours Be different!

A solid phone for sure, but I was disappointed in the lack of functionality regarding its stated functionality (email, calendar, predictive T9).I was looking to take a step back from my smart phone and utilize a basic phone instead, all I really need is email and calendar, but the email and calendar on this phone lacks cross integration and lacks compatibility with Microsoft accounts. As well, predictive T9 is great! But requires you to switch between capital T9 and lower case T9, this really slows down the whole process. You think that it would be able to automatically give an option to capitalize after punctuation. All that being said I'll keep it, as maybe updates will change this in the long run. The hardware itself is what I expected.
Have owned this phone for 5 days now and thought I would share my opinion of it so far: 1. Despite showing only one bar on the signal strength, the phone quality is clear and loud enough during calls. 2. Inserted 32GB micro sim card with about 10GB worth of mp3 music files - took a few minutes before the music player acknowledged the presence of the songs & then a few more minutes to update the music listing (so don't worry and be patient). The interface takes a bit to get used to - not as user friendly as a dedicated mp3 player. Suggest searching music by album name as the easiest way of finding what you want. 3. After a single charge, the battery is at 37% on day 5 - selected power saver mode from start, have only made a few phone calls & only used music player ... Have not used any of the internet/Wi Fi/Bluetooth features. Doubt very much that the battery will reach the quoted 25 days standby - will most likely only last a bit over a week. But this is still better than my old Nokia 301. 4. Can't comment on the internet related features - don't plan to use them to be honest. 5. Not sure how long the slide cover will last - screen already not always "lighting up" once cover is slid open. Plan to use as main phone when old 3G phone soon dies, now just used as a back-up. Cheers
Forgot about what you know about feature phones with this device. The Nokia 8110 4G is a smart feature phone which runs a powerful but light operating system known as KaiOS. The device is very good and offers features which only smartphones deliver, such as Google products (like Google assistant and maps), a Geolocation connect and a reasonably fast browser. But, even with all these features, battery life is still exceptional, with a claimed 28 days standby time. Also, if your like me and like bragging that you own a feature phone, this phone is perfect for you.Pros:Google Products - Such as google assistant and google mapsKaiOS StoreGeolocation capability4G and 4G Hotspot capabilityDropped it a couple of times. Brought a few weeks ago and now sits in a drawer such a shame as I had high hopes and have been looking for a decent feature phone so that I can ditch my distracting smartphone. Sadly this one misses the mark by a country mile. The good:It looks greatThe Bad:Bluetooth doesnt download phonebook to the carpredictive text doesn't let you add wordsHave to press back multiple times to get out of the menu items long pressing back doesnt work.No whatsapp!!! its been promised for months years weeks etc etc still not here.So dissapointed.
Bought to put a work SIM in. It's good it has 2G, 3G and 4G, even VoLTE. However is fairly sluggish in menus and has an annoying double-bounce problem where the key sometimes registers twice. Even brand new battery, not found it lasts more than a couple of days - could be down 3G/4G. Can force to use 2G, 2G/3G or all so may try that. Out of the box only one SIM is limited to max 2G until you fiddle with the phone connected to a computer then both sims can do 2G/3G/4G at the same time. It has a basic web browser, google assistant (voice web search), Whatsapp and google maps (but annoyingly it can plan a route and show traffic but not speak you the route, and you have to move it on each turn yourself). As a throwback it's a good solution for a second phone, de-tox from too much social media, the speed of use a little annoying plus battery life not as long as promised.
Extremely disappointing product.-Battery duration is WAY to short. When the wifi hot-spot is on it last but little over an hour.-Some synchronization lights up the screen every 10 min or so. It's bothersome at night.-Old keys layout is outdated for a modern "dumbphone". No design effort.-No sound volume keys.-BLOATWARE. This is absolutely unforgivable for such a low spec phone that has a call log of 25 entries.
I've been overall impressed with my nokia but it's just small things that have annoyed me.First of all, it doesn't have a dedicated "C" (or backspace) key and the decline call button that was read on old feature phones carries the duties of backspace and back in menus. This means you have to mash it repeatedly to get to the home screen. Also big thumbs down, no dedicated volume buttons! My headphone jack is dodgey on mine too so I'm going to have to send it back. Now to the pluses, it has 4G which is rare for feature phones and I've actually lasted with it for about 6 weeks reasonably stress free. It's kept me disconected and I feel a lot better. It's a good 4G hotspot too. Battery life is amazing, lasts me a week easily. I just wish they had taken more cues from ...
