The Nokia XR21 was very different to use! But the idea of it is amazing! The camera is perfect, it takes the most amazing photos! I also love how sturdy the phone is! It would be the perfect phone for a tradie because they are so rough with their devices! I’d give it an 8/10 purely because I’ve always been an apple girl and not sure how to use Android 😆 but still an amazing phone for android users I would recommend to them!

As an Apple user I surprised how easy an android phone was to use. It’s very responsive. I have used an android phone in the past and didn’t like the way it worked. The phone runs really smoothly, I would say it run smoother than my iphone. It has fantastic graphics it was quite impressed about this. I like that it’s slimline and it’s light weight. Love the texture which makes it easy to hold and won’t slip out of your hand. I also like that it has a dual SIM phone. This is perfect for travelling as this is useful, if you want to use a Sim card for that particular country that you’re in but still be contactable on your own sim. I like that, it’s water and dust resistant and that I don’t need a cover for it. Overall a fantastic phone. I’m definitely ... MoreAs an Apple user I surprised how easy an android phone was to use. I’m definitely considering switching over from my iPhone to this phone and I never thought I’d be saying that! I feel like this phone doesn’t have the same restrictions or complications like an iPhone does. Lastly, this phone is super affordable. It is a half the price of an iPhone of its range.

First impressions were tinted with nostalgia! As soon as I turned on the phone the old Nokia welcome tune played and I was transported back to when I held my very first phone! I am not a native android user, after my first phone (a Nokia) I have always used iPhones, and it was definitely hard to switch to the android platform initially. But the quality of the camera and the software attached to it on the Nokia was outstanding!!! The phone was fast and has a great feel in your hand. All in all a great phone and I expect native android users would go nuts for it!!!

I bought this to replace my damaged Nokia 7.2. I loved the 7.2 and should have bought another the same. Really disappointed in this one so far. Battery barely lasts a couple of hours. Then when I recharge it takes half a day to charge. Too slow. It's a brand new $600 phone I expected better!! I think mine maybe faulty. I'll give it another week and if still no good I'll be contacting Nokia. No I don't recommend this phone due to the battery issue. Takes nice photos and is strongly built, but heavy.
Phone is good if what you want is a tough midrange mobile. Very nice to use, feels good in hands. Good size. Fast enough for most. The speaker and charger arrived pretty quick and was easy enough to order with the supplied code on purchase of phone. Not JBs fault however so far Nokia is pretty tardy with the claimed monthly security android updates. Is now end of June and no update past March. Should at least be May update with June update not too far off. Shipped with OD android 12 and still no update to android 13. Nokia use timely updates as a selling point but so far have not delivered.
Ok'have had galaxy's since 2012, love em' broke me s10 plus few months ago; didn't want to pay over 2 g for phone'anyhow. Seen Nokia xr 21 read reviews ect'thought stuff it I'll give it a go, paid 799 in hi-fi Hobart city's had it 5 weeks' can use with gloves at work' few lil quirks' different screen motions ect'but used to them now' for 799, deadset fantastic phone: I don't play games on phone'so can't say what it's like for that:but it does everything I need:Spotify. Gumtree Hotmail ect all at same time:and it's tough. Will buy next xr model when it comes out, well done nokia. PS. Memory card or bigger storage next time.
Had this phone for a week & loathe it. Every little thing in the UI frustrating to use. Haptic feedback stops after typing a few lines ECT to much to list. This whole finger print sensor on the power button is annoying plus this button is recessed flat with the side of the phone. Screen feels plasticky rear camera isn't flush so it's the first thing to touch when placing down. Doesn't like to charge with a slow wall charger, have to use a fast charger or it takes 6 hours, didn't come with a wall charger just usb cable. $799 phone with $300 specs that I paid $179 for after jb price matching & I still fully regret buying this, it's a rugged phone that doesn't even look rugged. All kinds of wrong I think I might switch over to HMD may be they make better phones
I returned the phone before using it. It did setup well - really easy with the corded usb-c direct connection to the older phone. But I then discovered it didn't have wireless charging - only after looking up 'problems with wireless charging' - to discover this had been deprecated in what was supposed to have been an 'upgrade' phone. After using an XR20 with wireless charging, and setting up 2 cars (plus work-van), a home and workshop wireless chargers, it was inconceivable that I'd ever go back to using a non-wireless charging phone. I'd even sealed up the usb-c port with a well fitting silicon plug, and never had to take it out. So the 'upgrade' was actually a BIG downgrade. Someone at NOKIA marketing needs to lose their job over this.So this was an absolute ... MoreI returned the phone before using it. Someone at NOKIA marketing needs to lose their job over this.So this was an absolute deal-breaker to using the phone - and JB very reasonably accepted my reasoning that I'd looked up the phone before buying - and the reviews I saw didn't point out the lack of charging in headline red-letters - *which they all should have*. I had to lookup 'issues with charging' to find a review that pointed this out.
Excellent phone. It's tough as nails. Survived drops, falls and my typical clumsiness. Not the fastest, but good for general usage and great camera. Stock Android a massive plus. There is a lack of tough phones.
My 4 year old Samsung died due to getting wet in a "dry bag" so needed a replacement due to flying out of country for work, bought this the morning of the day I left, so due to time choice was not well considered.the waterproof/ dust proof / shock resistance basically sold me along with the price as I am less concerned with having a 3k accessory than having a solid functional phone. My one Gripe as I had not researched was asking if it had memory upgrades available as in a SD Card slot, Sales Dude said yes it does, Well No it doesn't- discovered this on the plane to Dubai - It uses external Google drive - Great if you use Google or have a wish to.Phone is great for the most part, fast and responsive, although due to the button location and sensitive nature of the ... MoreMy 4 year old Samsung died due to getting wet in a "dry bag" so needed a replacement due to flying out of country for work, bought this the morning of the day I left, so due to time choice was not well considered.the waterproof/ dust proof / shock resistance basically sold me along with the price as I am less concerned with having a 3k accessory than having a solid functional phone. Me I dislike giving anything to Google :)
