I bought a DTX 140 a few months ago and I've hooked loads of fish on it. 1 complaint, I've tried loads of different rigging options and the best I've found is 120# single strand wire, but I can't get it to stay in the water any faster than about 6 knots, any faster and it just skips and tumbles.

Have been using the DTX Minnow for a few months now and it works great as a slow-trolled nearshore lure. I have caught Kingfish, Grouper, Bonita, and Cobia trolling in 20-30' of water just off the beach. Hooks are super-strong and lure has held up well to some toothy fish. Candy Pilchard color has had the most strikes, but I plan to try a few other colors to see how they compare. Very pleased with this bait!
My buddy loves plugs. I hate them...they tangle the spread. But not this one. Runs super true. We ran one for about two hours at the Spencer Canyon this weekend, and caught a 250lb Mako on it!!! Biggest Mako I ever saw eat a plug. Made a believer out of me!!!
I think wahoo might be genetically commanded to strike lures this color! This lure dives great and the action is easy to start and keep up on big turns
I use this little lure with great success to catch Sierra, Albacore, Jack and many other species. These are very strong lures and catch big fish.Recommended 100%.
These 145 shallow models really get the job done behind the kayak.. they dig in fast and stay down even at super slow speeds. I like to troll them on a 3-way rig under a nice spoon. They hold the depth well and keep the spoon about 5/6 feet above them so you can work 2 depths of the water column at once. Very effective for big bass I've found. And hold up well to the inevitable bluefish that are bound to get in the way from time to time. Hardware and hooks are solid as well. Bkk hooks are second to none and all nomad lures come prerigged with bkk's only..
I find it interesting that, just like the photos on your website, the item I ordered that you have pictured here shows treble hooks, just like the other Nomad DTX's I have bought in the past. Mine arrived with single hooks, and your customer service told me that this is how Nomad does it. Why does the photo show a different set of hooks? I had to change out the hooks, and I'm not sure I even have the correct hook size. This is disturbing to say the least.
We use this in the blue water in NC and does great. Great bait to drop in quickly in a planer rod. Rigged up with wire we have caught mahi and king so far. Lost one due to wahoo biting wire. Beautiful presentation in water
