The B&N Glowlight 6 is a disappointment. After owning several Nook products I expected it to be of the same quality as the others. It is only black and white which makes looking at a magazine useless. The resolution of the image is poor, grainy images at best. It does fine for reading a book but not much else. I should have looked at the competition before purchasing.

Great seller. I purchased this to replace an older nook glow light. This one is nicer than my old one. It has a much better build and appears to be quite sturdy. It's easy to use. My favorite feature is the glow light.

Got this for my Mother a few months ago and from the beginning it was not what they said it would be. Battery life was subpar requiring charging every few days. Then within 6 months it just died. In the past when you got a lemon you could take it to the store and have it exchanged once you showed them the issue. Not anymore. Now you have to call and get their tech support to start the replacement process while hearing over and over that if they don't get the nook they will charge your credit card. Honestly I had my suspicions that this was used when the box did not have a charging cable but the bad battery life seems to confirm this. Add to that their stress of getting a "defective nook" back makes me think that they want to send it out to someone else.Very ... MoreGot this for my Mother a few months ago and from the beginning it was not what they said it would be. love this nook. I love being able to read with it even in bright sunlight and complete darkness. It was a great price and the battery power lasts quite awhile. I can carry it easily in my purse and covers for it were easy to find. highly recommend it.
I like the Nook I've used them for years. The Glowlight is great for reading books if you don't have a car because they're smaller and lighter than print books and you can read them in the dark. I like them better than Kindle. The 4 is smaller and lighter than the 3, so that's a welcome improvement. However, the 4 is slower than the 3. So when you click on a book, you don't get immediate response. And if you click again and still don't get one, what will happen is after a number of seconds it'll respond to all your clicks as if it's going crazy. I took mine to the local B&N and the clerk told me there's nothing wrong with mine. It's how they made the 4 (Really, B&N, you couldn't make it smaller and maintain the speed?) So now I click once and wait and it works fine. ... MoreI like the Nook I've used them for years. So now I click once and wait and it works fine. Also I dont close down a book until it's finished, so I only encounter the delay when opening a new book. I would have preferred the white frame but they're hard to come by. The dealer shipped the Nook in a timely fashion and it was exactly as advertised.
The product was great it was in better condition than what I expected. My son loves reading now thanks
I HATE THE PUSH BUTTONS ON THE EDGE OF THE SCREEN! I KEEP HITTING THEM ALL THE TIME WHEN I'M READING! WHATS WRONG WITH THE TOUCH SCREEN FOR TURNING THE PAGE LIKE MY OLDER NOOKS? I ALSO LIKED THE SOFTWAREON THE OLDER NOOKS BETTER THAN THIS FOR SEARCHING THE LIBRARY AND SHOPPING!
Black background and white text not available for reading. But that's why it's called a Glowlight. The warm feature is nice and easy on the eyes. The e ink to me personally is better on this nook than my kindle basic 2022. I give this device five stars because it does exactly what it needs to do.
I ordered the Glowlight 4, but instead received a Nook that was clearly a decade old. Walmart really needs to mitigate some of these 3rd party sellers.
I had ordered a nook blow light for I got a nook glow light three with the paperwork for a nook glowlight five I got it late. The first one was shattered.
