This is a lovely large bottle of cod liver oil, in a classy blue glass bottle. It stores well in the fridge door, and the black lid unscrews easily.However this stuff is MESSY! The suggested dosage is 2.5mL but there’s no way to measure it, you just pour this very slimy oil and hope for the best. I started using a dropper from an old medicine bottle, but somehow the oil still dribbles all around the thread of the bottle and lid so my hands are covered in it.I most recently poured it into a cleaned empty vitamin bottle with a dropper, I’m hoping that alleviates some of the issues. However the sickly sweet fruity smell only overwhelms your senses briefly, then it’s all fish all day.When the oil dribbles down the bottle and gets on my hands, I smell like I’ve been working in a fish factory all day. When the oil is mixed with a jar of baby fruit, it smells like strawberry but tastes like you licked a slab of raw salmon.BUT thankfully my tiny human doesn’t seem to mind any of this one bit, so it appears to be a win in end!I add it to his bottles that he takes to the babysitter or to a fruit pouch when he’s at home, and he happily consumes it no matter what it’s mixed with.
