Nordic Naturals ProOmega 2000-D 120

This is the second time that I have ordered the Nordic Naturals Pro Omega (I order this product regularly) and there are broken capsules in the container. When I opened the container there is fish oil on every capsule and the container is coated inside with oil. The first time I just left it as is but soon the oil turned rancid and contaminated the capsules. So I had to throw them away, there was no way I could get those capsules down my throat the smell and taste was horrible!! After ordering another bottle to replace the contaminated product I received it today and AGAIN there are 2 broken capsules, making an oily smelly horrible mess. I will not be ordering this product from Wellkasa again.

DHA and EPA

These are fairly large format gel capsules, but with the amount of DHA and EPA in each, you shouldn't expect anything smaller. They're still easy to take. I think the general recommendation is 1-2 gram of each/day. 2 capsules has you covered. No aftertaste. They do have a little lemon as an ingredient. I wish they did not as if the oil goes rancid, you might not be able to tell. In any case, I find them to be helpful for inflammation and mental clarity and plan to pursue another bottle.

omega 3s are very important for good heart healthy, as well as being anti-inflammaton. i like and recommend these fish oil omega 3 supplements by nordic naturals because they claim to have been independently tested by a third-party lab for heavy metals and other dangerous contaminants. (note, not all fish oil supplements are not tested for contamination). thus, i feel confident that these supplements provide the benefits of taking fish oil, without potential exposure to lead or mercury, etc. moreover, an important bonus that many users might appreciate is that these capsules include lemon flavour; this is important because many people find the fishy after-taste of many fish oil supplements to be objectionable, but the lemon flavour helps to partially mask this effect.

1st time trying Nordic Naturals Pro Omega 2000mg daily for the amount of IUs and because it is EPA. Recommended by a mental health specialist as an added supplement (for brain health) along with 800 mg magnesium glycinate to promote restful sleep. The goal is optimizing mental health. We are trying this brand for now and it is working safely with the food allergy/sensitivity to fish. We’ve not observed any negative reactions or intolerances.

My FAVORITE FISH OIL SUPPLEMENT

Quality fish oil; I take this supplement weekly. I also have other fish oil products so it lasted long for that reason. It has all the OMEGA-3s that you need. It has greater benefits for hair, lowering cholesterol, and reducing inflammation. I went to my doctor this past week after getting blood work done. She said my cholesterol was perfect she was shocked given my risk factors. If you are the type to belch after taking fish oil the lemon flavor drowns out the fish taste almost completely.
