These are excellent cake pan. You can make so many things in these containers, but the beauty of this is the cover and being able to enjoy a meal outside and in if so desired. Functional, good quality and really affordable. I had to buy extra ones which I will be giving out as gifts.

Broken Lid

I received my 13x9 inch baking pan today. It was packaged nicely, however the plastic lid is all cracked and broken. I'm not going to return it but somebody knew they sent me a broken lid.

Fantastic!

I love all the baking products from Nordic Ware. I have multiples of this rectangular baker, the square/brownie one and the covered muffin tins! They are so easy to use and clean up afterwards. Just don't spray on any non-stick to mess up the coating and only wash by hand. Your baked treats are always safe because of the cover and look wonderful when sharing. Don't hesitate. I've been using these for years!

Grandmother

Very heavy duty. I have never had an aluminum pan this thick and weighty. I’m sure it will last long enough to be passed down through at least 2 generations. That doesn’t happen with a glass pan. I am astounded that something can be made even better and at a decent price. A wonderful value.

Has it all

This is a great pan- easy to clean, bakes evenly and has a nice fitting lid, though it shouldn't be picked up or carried without supporting the bottom. I hastily made some brownies with a thick consistency where the mix was not as uniformly spread as it could have been. I then got distracted and left them in the oven too long. They were neither burned nor unevenly baked.Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised! One caveat, the pain shows light scratch marks easily, even though plastic utensils were used.

Highest quality pan in your cabinet!

We have had this pan for 10 years and used it regularly for several "go to" house favorite baking items (read brownies). We didn't wear it out, we bought matching pans for our daughters so they could use their mother's recipes.This is a very high quality aluminum pan. It's so heavy in fact that we originally thought it was an air bake pan. It's not, but that doesn't take anything away from its performance which is excellent for cakes and brownies.

Love my pan

This pan is good quality. It's heavier than other aluminum baking pans. The size is a bit smaller than regular 9x13 pans which I like because my bars are thicker. The pan bakes evenly and washes up nicely by hand. It's a bonus that it comes with a sturdy lid.

Nice pan but size is off.

This is a lovely cake pan, very sturdy and well made. The one problem I find with it is that isn't exactly a 13x9 pan. The measurements are a slight bit under that. Not sure why they would make it smaller. I just made a cake in it, a cake that I have made for years in another pan and the baking time is 35 minutes and in my other pan it was done in exactly that amount of time to the minute, every time. In this pan I took the cake out of the oven at 35 minutes and even though it looked done, when I tested it, it wasn't done in the center, it needed another 5 minutes. So buyers be aware because your cakes are going to take slightly longer in this pan.

Perfect pan

Love Nordic Ware and made in the USA. It's not a 9x13 but with the cake mixes shrinking in size it might be just as well! Nothing to complain about because the true dimensions are noted in the description. Nice to have a cover.

Would have gotten 5 if the lid had fit better

I like the fact that it is a light colored aluminum pan which is hard to find these days. I don't like that the lid doesn't fit as well as I had hoped.
