These are outliers in this Marc Newson series, being rectangular. But all the other design cues are there: none of the edges are totally straight, and the profile curve is an elegant ark, rather than a crude rounded curve. Nicely compact, these are small by serving platter standards, and could easily be used as dinner plates - by hungry stylish people. Perfectly made in bone china with a soft white glazed finish.

I was delighted with this serving platter from the Noritake Marc Newson range. Well designed and made and perfect size. I will invest in some more of these soon. Always love my Everten parcel!
Purchased to match table setting - well made but not quite as stylish/distinctive as other products in the range
The first one I bought was so fine, excellent quality, that I bought three more! However, those three are just not the same quality. They are heavier, uneven and don't even stack nicely as you'd reasonably expect from pieces designed specifically to function well in tight spaces on aircraft! I wouldn't have bought those for $5 at a flea market, yet I remain delighted with the first one which is of very fine quality.
