Bought the item, fitted with packaging still around item for protection. When I removed the packaging I found the tube metal hole was already rusting! Moved house shortly after so didn't try to exchange. Check for corrosionbefore installing.

Was very hard to get in stock but managed to secure one. The mailbox is sturdy and heavy, best feature is the square outline overall and has a wide slot. I liquid nailed a number for my house and then liquid nailed it to a Paver and it looks good. I think this is the best mailbox to pick from.

I purchased one of these late 2018.It currently has signs of weather damage, the colouring has distorted and there are various hairline surface cracks which are likely as a result of UV damage. I have seen a few of these letterboxes while I have been out and about and they all have similar signs of weather damage, I have seen a few that look worse.You would expect such a product to be protected against the elements.

Nice big letterbox however I had to remove the flap as the Postie would leave the letters half out as the spring must have been too difficult to manage. I was concerned the mail may get wet with a large gap however that's not the case - it just made it a little more spider friendly. I would have liked a smoother interior as its very rough. It is quite nice though and it has withstood the high winds we get in our region.
I bought this letterbox after a tradie smashed my other one and a direct replacement would have been about $500. This one has a good solid look to it, so fits in better than any of the cheaper options, but is very affordable.The opening at the back had been knocked at some point so the catch was damaged; bunnings offered a replacement but I can concreted this one in before noticing. It was easy enough to knock out with a hammer though.Definitely worth the price, but check over everything before installing!
Looks dune coloured not grey.Inside looks unfinished and scratchy when you put your hand in to collect mail.Other reviewers say it fades , these pics are on day of installation. Will likely paint it to get the colour it is described as.
Good letterbox but after three months paint weathered off in places. Had to repaint with good quality solar guard paint.
This mailbox has a very poor paint finish. The letter box looks terrible in a very short period of time. Would not recommend due to finish.
This used to be for $99 then it was $139 and now it's $159. All it happened in span of 3 months. Unbelievable right ? That's what my local bunnings manager said. Nothing he could do about it though.
