Now Sports Eggwhite Protein Powder, 1.2-Pound

I love my egg white powder for making my keto bread and rolls/muffins. I can now have bread on my keto diet! Also Lucky Vitamin has the price so affordable for me and my other keto friends. And the fact that it's always in stock and they also always send me a coupon is the best reason to order from them.

Dont fall for the casual amateur reviews, this product is 5 star solid.

So just wanted to chime in since theres all these "amazon" type whining reviews on here where people have a $1500 smart phone leaving pseudo intellectual reviews that skew a products reputation.Does this smell like eggs, yes it has a strong scent if you sniff inside the tub.Does this smell translate over to the taste, NOT REALLY IF AT ALLDoes it have mixing problems, NO use a shaker bottle and a spring or jack declumper device inside your shaker no problem.It does froth up to the top of my shaker but let it sit and the foam goes away. Its not like casein or some other proteins where it gets so thick you cant even shake it anymore. HOWEVER I usually cut my shake with a little bit of water. I do not get that with this brand they did a good job.However Im not super picky or giving a fake intellectual amateur review on this....knocking stars off cause the lid is too tight, or the product settled and it looks like theres less servings or some mediocre non problem with this product whilst im asking alexa what the weather is outside while I sit in my lazy boy recliner.

Excellent Egg White Protein Powder!

I bought this to make a low carb bread or psmf bread recipe, but you can use it to incorporate more protein into your diet. I’ve recently used it to make chickpea meatballs and it held together quite well and the taste was really good. The contents are fresh and the package came in perfect condition. It’s quite large for the price, I don’t even know if I’ll be able to use it all😅! Overall I’m very happy with this protein powder! Im glad iHerb had this product, it was hard to find for a reasonable cost.

Excellent for low carb bread!

This protein powder tastes very neutral and can be used in many things. We are on a low-carb diet and use it to make the Maria Emmerich protein soaring bread - it's excellent. My husband also uses it in his bulletproof coffee occasionally. And I add it to fruit smoothies for my 3-year old. The price point is amazing ... in Canada the plain egg white protein powders are hard to find and extremely expensive. This is an amazing buy!

Excellent quality, light taste

Very small powder, it doesn't have an intense smell or taste, although it is egg whites. It mixes very well with water as egg replacement but also for cooking. I used it for baking pancakes and in smoothies. The taste is covered easily with any other ingredient. I like the quality and that it is pure, without fillers. The 1.2 lbs is a convenient size but im glad I bought 2, since I'll probably use it more than expected. Great as protein source (protein powder supplement) in any meal, dessert or drink.

Excellent!

I have bought the protein powder several times now and i will continue to purchase it. I use it to make bread and pancakes. Absolutely clean ingredients, the airtight jar keeps it fresh. I believe the now brand is probably the best i have used, superior quality, it comes with a handy scoop. Even though it is made with egg whites there is no obvious eggy taste. This allows me to have white bread without the gluten.

Great for PSMF Bread and Keto Angel Food Cake!

I make PSMF bread with this and it is incredible! Of course I add, nutritional yeast, regular yeast, salt, butter, etc. but, it is almost like Wonder Bread and with almost zero carbs, I can have bread again! If you're on a Keto, Ketovore or Carnivore diet like I am, this is essential. To be able to have a dessert that is incredibly delish is also a dream achieved with this powder. Recipes on YouTube. So glad I discovered this product.

NOW Egg White Protein

I bought the egg white protein to make egg white protein bread. It looks like the pictures. But no flavor and almost impossible to chew and swallow. I even tried using it to make a recipe of cinnamon buns that are low carb. They were not for me either. While they ended up in the trash I do like it for my shakes. I combine it with bone broth protein and coconut milk. This combination I do like and will purchase it again to help get the good protein my body needs.

One year later, still haven’t used up.

I hate to leave a poor review but this is the worst protein I have ever bought. It is sticky, doesn’t mix well, and has the most terrible taste. I’ve tried mixing it with several other proteins to mask the flavor but that doesn’t work. I still have this protein a year after purchasing if that tells you how slowly I am using it up. I’ve also tried using it as a flour substitute as I’ve been able to do this with other proteins and thought an egg protein would bake well, but baked goods turn out extremely dry. Sadly I do not recommend it.

So-so

I am comparing this to the MRM egg white protein powder that I normally use and which was out of stock when I ordered this one. The MRM gets a 5 star. By comparison this is not nearly as good. It doesn't taste bad but it doesn't taste good either, in fact it is pretty tasteless and that CAN be a good thing depending on what you use it for. I like that it has no sweeteners and extra stuff in it but it doesn't blend well, in fact if I don't whip it into a blender full of liquid it gets all lumpy and gross. And of course without the stevia I have to take that extra step to add it myself.
