I like this brand for the simplicity of their liquid sweetener ingredients. I have several of their liquid stevia products in different flavors and they always keep the additives to a minimum. Stevia and monk fruit don't need a bunch of preservatives to keep them shelf stable but many brands still include a ton of unnecessary stabilizers in their formulas and then add "refrigerate after opening" on their products anyway! NOW brand liquid monk fruit and stevia are both shelf stable and have only three ingredients: glycerin, water, and monk fruit (or stevia depending on what you are purchasing). No "natural flavors" or other sneaky additives. This comes with a flip top that has a small dropper hole that dispenses drops slowly when you upend the bottle. The viscosity is almost as thick as pure glycerin so you don't have to worry about this coming out in a watery stream or making a mess. You can see what one drop looks like in the photo of a droplet suspended on the back of my hand. It holds its shape but disperses with movement. This is pretty sweet but I do wish NOW brand monk fruit and stevia were both a tad more concentrated for the small quantity you get in a bottle. I'm used to pure stevia powder where just the smallest dusting sweetens an entire mug of coffee or tea so it's hard for me to get used to using several drops of the liquid. It's not a deal breaker, though, and this is still very good quality compared to more diluted brands. However, I don't think there's a full 219 servings per 2 ounce bottle although I've never counted. Maybe there is. I noticed they upped the drops to read 8 drops as a serving rather than 4 and 4 never sweetened a drink for me so maybe 219 is more accurate now. Either way, you don't have to worry about ingesting a lot of junky added fillers so use as many drops as you like! I just like to calculate the cost per serving and I don't think I've ever gotten 200 servings from one bottle.

Good quality, AND organic!

Of course sweetners are always going to have a little bit of a "sweetner" taste, even if it's so slight. There's no perfect way to replace sugar unfortunately. But this stuff works great as a replacement and is so convenient in the form of a liquid/extract. Not much is needed, a little goes a long way. Has lasted me a long time. I guess it depends what you use it for though! Obviously if you're sweetening entire batches of baked goods then you'll go through it a bit faster than me haha. This bottle is so small, you could even carry it around with you in your bag to add to any drinks etc if you go out and get coffee or tea for example. My favorite thing about monk fruit, and even stevia sweetners, is that you don't need much, which means my body seems less burdened ...Ā MoreOf course sweetners are always going to have a little bit of a "sweetner" taste, even if it's so slight. My favorite thing about monk fruit, and even stevia sweetners, is that you don't need much, which means my body seems less burdened by them because we're only taking in a small amount. Compared to if we ate erythritol or allulose, you need much larger amounts to get that sweetness from those. My immune system always gets really wacky when I consume erythritol or allulose etc, I always get congested and sluggish when I have those. Just don't overdo it with sweetners in general and you should be good! :)

I was debating between the taste of stevia and this and am happy I went with monk fruit. Actually I was on the lookout for a sweetener without erythrytol or other added sugar alcohol sweeteners in the ingredients (which keto diets do want to take care to avoid too many sugar alcohols as they still convert to carb calories). The pure monk fruit powders are very expensive and this little bottle packs a punch! I don’t think it’ll last as long as a stevia liquid bottle would as monk fruit I don’t think is quite so (annoyingly) sweet, rather its more cloying in a nice way. Also in the beginning I was counting the drops so as not to over sweeten but now I’ve learned how to gauge 1 squirt in one go so as to avoid standing counting drops per whatever serving you desire ...Ā MoreI was debating between the taste of stevia and this and am happy I went with monk fruit. Its like the slight softness of the bottle gives the perfect ā€œgiveā€. Also it is a bit more forgiving I feel than stevia if you accidentally put too much. It is also sized small enough to throw in your purse and the package gives me no fear of it suddenly exploding in my purse as the flip lid is tight but no so much its hard to open. I will buy more when I spot the next sale as I am so thrilled to be able to sweeten my drinks without limits unlike those erythritol monk fruit mixes where you still want to be careful with how much you use. Just ideal and practically something I kind of cherish im so grateful this exists!!! Also the lemon one is a ā€œfunā€ flavor as it features ingredients that are 100% lemon oil extracts, the flavor comes out kinda like candy which is kinda co but it is fun to use to kick up some of my herbal infusions. I do wonder how long the product will last with daily use but to be frank when it comes to my health and joy of little things if I need to buy a bottle every month then I will (though most likely it’ll be every other month from how i ise it, sometimes i dont want my herbal infusions (like holy basil… yum! With a few drops of FES flower essences… magic water ;)) to be sweet but just have that hint of sweetness and this is perfect for that! Friends don’t waste time deliberating and just give this monk fruit a try. Its not something that can easily be purchased in stores too I don’t believe as stevia is the dominant market leader. Give me a like please jf you appreciated my (long sorry!) review, thank you šŸŽˆā˜€ļø

Makes Low Sugar Feel Easy
19 November 2023

I've been fighting to lower my sugar intake, but also have a serious sweet tooth. If this is also you, then you totally need this sweetener. A literal drop or two of the monk fruit extract is enough to replace the sugar in my morning beverages. And it doesn't have any weird after-tastes like the chemical sugar substitutes. Having it on hand has made sticking to a low sugar lifestyle so much easier. When I make beverages and cook, I just swap in a few magical drops wherever it calls for cane sugar. The 3 ingredients are simple to understand. This is a trustworthy product that is certified organic and made in the US.

I recently had the opportunity to try NOW Foods Organic Monk Fruit Liquid Sweetener, and I have mixed feelings about it.On the positive side, the product is made from real, organic monk fruit, which aligns with my preference for natural sweeteners. The small bottle size of 2 fl oz (59 ml) is convenient for carrying around and fits well in my bag or pocket. However, I found the overall taste and sweetness of the product to be lacking. While it did provide a hint of sweetness, it didn't quite match up to my expectations. It fell short in terms of intensity and depth, leaving me wanting more flavor.Furthermore, I noticed that the sweetener had a slightly bitter aftertaste, which was not pleasant. It detracted from the overall experience and made it less enjoyable ...Ā MoreI recently had the opportunity to try NOW Foods Organic Monk Fruit Liquid Sweetener, and I have mixed feelings about it.On the positive side, the product is made from real, organic monk fruit, which aligns with my preference for natural sweeteners.
