If you have any form of IBS, this product needs to be on your list of top supplements. I previously purchased another brand that was three times the cost of this one. The Now Foods has the same ingredients and works exactly the same as the other one. I also have gerd and an ulcer and this has not exacerbated those issues at all. Do your research as I’m not a medical professional, I just know what works for me. Also, Now Foods is a brand that I trust for my supplements.

I ordered this because I initially bought Ibguard for ibs and loved it, but couldn’t justify the price of it. Iherb is my go to for my supplements so I took a browse and came across these. Helps sooo much with overall digestion and bloating. The size of the pills are small which is nice as well. There is no initial taste but you will get a sense of peppermint in your throat as well as burping it which is kind of nice lol it’s like an ongoing mint for your breath too hahah. I struggle a lot with bloating and upset stomach and I find the quality of this product is great, especially for the price point.

Good price compared to IBGard. These peppermint gels help calm my cranky IBS (I have bouts of upset stomach with lower abdominal crampy pain). But… unfortunately this product (even when I take it a couple if hours after Omeprazole during the day) has triggered my GERD / heartburn. End up taking Tums and trying to eat bland stuff to calm the peppermint fire in my upper GI tract after taking these peppermint gels.IBGard is a lot pricier. But it doesn’t cause upper GI irritation. IBGard works great and was recommended by my Gastroenterology CRNP.Ordered more IBGard today.

It would be like someone putting sand in my small intestine. Anything acidic like orange, lemon, vinegar, or vitamin C pills would hurt the right side. I read somewhere that peppermint is very helpful for intestinal discomfort. As soon as I consumed it, it felt like someone put something very soothing on top of the lower right-sided spot used to hurt. After a few days, I was able to eat the acidic things in moderate quantities and overall discomfort was reduced significantly. I've been suffering from IBS for years and have tried many supplements in the hopes of alleviating my bloating. However, none of them had helped.
