Nude by Nature Flawless Liquid Foundation - W2 Ivory

While applying this foundation I found it very hard to blend as it set onto my skin almost instantly, resulting in patchiness and small dry clumps on the skin. I recently attended a Nude By Nature training and I talked to the Trainer and asked if she had any suggestions to improve the result of the Flawless Foundation. She told me the Nude By Nature Team had listened to their customers feedback and the trouble they were having while applying the liquid foundation. So their team tried and tested all different ways and products to help with achieving the most Flawless look. As a result using the Buffing Brush to apply the Flawless Liquid Foundation gave the best outcome for a long wearing, liquid foundation that instantly delivers a flawless medium to full coverage with a satin matte finish.\n\nIdeal for oily skin, this formula is best suitable for someone with excess oils on the face to give a satin matte finish once applied. If you have very dry skin this foundation is not for you and you will not get that desired flawless finish. If you do have dry skin but would like to try this foundation make sure to prime your skin with plenty of moisture using the Nude By Nature Airbrush Primer.\n\n

Only 10 of those shades are available through retail outlets and the other 10 have to be purchased online from the Nude by Nature website.\nThe 30 ml of product is housed within a frosted glass bottle with a pump for ease of use. It really is a no fuss product and using a brush I find I can quickly apply this foundation swiftly in about 60 seconds. It does not like to be fussed about with. Applying with a brush seems to work better then using a beauty blender which was a complete fail. I have used this foundation with and without a primer and found the application was just the same either way but for my skin it worked best with a primer which seemed to help keep the oil at bay. It can be a tad prone to creasing without a primer also.\nI love that there is no real scent and that there are some wonderful ingredients to help look after your skin such as kakadu plum and lilly pilliy.\nPerfect foundation if you are someone that dislikes spending a lot of time getting ready in the mornings

Easily the worst "foundation" I've ever used

I was so excited to try one of nude by nature's foundations because I fell in love with a few of their other products (contour, highlight, etc.). I have fair, acne prone skin with scarring, so I always look for a little bit of coverage.Hearing that this was "medium" coverage and buildable to full, I thought it would be perfect! I couldn't have been more wrong. Marketing this as a foundation is just deceiving to customers. Upon application, it appears pigmented and you can see "coverage," yet not even 10s after applying it melts into the skin completely removing any coverage that initially appeared. Skin appears to have a glow but that is it- no coverage, no evening of skin tone, literally nothing.If anything, this seems to be a glorified serum. Great coverage without being oily or greasy

My first impressions of the packaging was that it looks like a premium product coming boxed up. When I opened the packaging I was really impressed with the styling of the bottle. It looked really luxe with the copper oversized lid, which hid a generous sized bottle of foundation. The bottle sits up nicely and also travelled well in my bag when we went on holiday. I initially used it during the day with a really light coat over my face and it kept my appearance really natural but still covered my uneven skin tone. I found the foundation remained on my skin really well during the whole day (I applied it early in the morning and I still looked fresh faced late in the afternoon.)I have also used it for evenings out and applied extra to give more coverage over my skin. The lighter shade gave me the opportunity to contour my face and highlight features but I would still like to try samples in store to see if I could get a better matchI haven't experienced any problems with breakouts or irritations during use. I combined using the foundation with the concealer which was also supplied and this worked well together to further cover skin imperfections. I loved how the foundation kept a really matte appearance and didn't leave me feeling oily or greasy at all.The bottle comes with a pump top which gives just enough product to manage easily on my fingersI would definitely recommend Nude by Nature foundation to anyone but would really like to try a different shade which might more closely match my own skin tone before giving it 5 stars.

I actually had to pick one lighter than I would've normally picked because there didn't seem to be a correct option in my base tone range, ie the next option was too dark. I still applied the foundation to get the feel of it and then next time I used it I ended up mixing it with a darker BB cream I had to get the shade a little closer to my skin.I loved applying the soft, silky liquid using the brush supplied for the trial. It effortlessly buffed into my skin, giving me an even coverage. It gave good coverage with just a little product, but you could build it up applying another layer for fuller coverage. The finish was a natural looking matte appearance. My skin looked fresh and even and the foundation didn't dry out my already tired and slightly parched winter ski.Overall I really loved the product and would recommend it. Being a bit of a stickler for natural products now this was a great opportunity.

Due to the combination of harmless, skin friendly ingredients, the foundation is basically unscented, making it ideal for those with sensitivity issues. I discovered the importance of a speedy application, because it tends to dry and set quickly, which can start caking and appear streaky, chalky or patchy. Also in this case, less is definitely more, as using too much foundation to begin with will create a mask-like effect. Fortunately, this foundation is buildable, so I only need a tiny bit of product at a time, ensuring each layer is fully blended before adding anything further. Despite the initial boost of pigmentation, the end result is a weightless, light to medium coverage, along with an overall healthy radiant luster. It doesn't camouflage all of my imperfections, but it matches my natural skin tone and delivers a uniform complexion, by covering any redness and minor flaws.Most likely due to the humid climate here in FNQ, in addition to my naturally oily skin type, the staying power during the day when I'm out and about is only mediocre at best and after a just a few hours my face becomes shiny and the foundation seems to slip. I've tried remedying these issues with a dusting of translucent powder as required, but that mostly exacerbates the problem causing it to settle into fine lines and stick like glue to any dry patches. On the bright side, I've also tried staying in air-conditioning after the application and thankfully it stays put. I'm sure this foundation would be ideal during the cooler months here and I really can't fault this product based on the massive battle I'm constantly faced with when it comes to keeping makeup in place on my face over summer. In the meantime, I'll try and avoid the humidity as much as possible so I can achieve flawless results for longer using the Nude by Nature Flawless Finish Foundation.

Truly natural full coverage foundation

Ok, so right off the bat I am going to praise the gorgeous packaging! It's so classy and expensive looking, and so very distinctive! It's definitely a product I will have sitting out on my vanityThe foundation came with a nude by nature brush, which I used to apply it the first time. I ended up washing my face immediately because I was covered in hair, the brush just would not stop shedding and it was making the foundation go all cakey! I grabbed my beauty blender and applied it again, this time it went on perfectly and smoothly. I used just one layer of it without a primer, and I also used the concealer on top, without setting powder. I might just mention here that my skin type is dry/combination, with a slightly oily t-zoneI usually wear a very light coverage during the day time, but this foundation is perfect for special events when I want more coverage. It's gorgeous! I also absolutely love the fact it's made from natural ingredients and I'm not putting poisons on my face.

Whilst the colour of the foundation was a perfect match and the packaging very luxe for a drug store brand unfortunately this product did not work for me. I tired applying with both the nude by nature buffing brush and my beauty blender and I found this formula simply did not work for my skin. I have neutral to dry skin and found this foundation to be patchy and fail in its promises of flawless application. Hopefully we can provide some tips to assist. Some products (such as serums, moisturisers or sunscreens) can be incompatible with other products when layered, or just need extra time to dry before applying the next product. Maybe try applying the Airbrush Mineral Primer underneath the foundation as it creates a smooth base for make-up application. Then apply a small amount of the foundation and blend with the Buffing Brush, and buff into the skin using circular motions to help ensure a smooth and even application.
