Like all Nude By Nature products, this Finishing powder is cruelty free, free of any nasties, and vegan safe.\nIt contains an ingredient called Kaolin Clay, which I know is in many beauty products including some face masks. When you slide that open you then have half the container with perforated holes to allow access to the product and once you are done you twist it closed again which is perfect and certainly helps avoid those instances where you open your powder to find its gone everywhere. Once open the box tells me this product is good for 24 months. You use so little of this product that its not unreasonable to think that it will in fact last the 2 years. I have a smaller 3 gram pot that I use for when I'm travelling. \n\n

Although I’m personally not a huge fan of the loose powder form of finishing powder I do love this product. I typically use a compressed powder version however find that I don’t get enough product on my brush and subsequently at the end of the day it hasn’t lasted. The powder form has allowed me to achieve a long lasting look and I’m not horrified at the end of the day to see my glistening forehead! I naturally have combination skin and I’ve found this product to successfully create a natural look that lasts without disturbing my skins natural oil production; it’s not more oily or too dry- so formula wise this product is fabulous! I have been using this as a setting powder over the top of liquid foundation, and it has worked a treat for my oily/combination skin. The colour is translucent, and a little confronting at first because it looks so pale against my skin! But after applying it across the foundation, it sets in really well. It smooths out the appearance of my pores, and leaves a matte finish, which reduces shine and oiliness throughout the day. Good product but hate the container.

I love the product. You can wear it all day and you dont feel like your wearing makeup. Easy to apply. I just dont like the recent change to the containers. The lid has a big piece in the middle and you cant tip the powder in it and take it up with the brush. It tips everywhere and you waste too much. I prefer the old lid with nothing on the inside. So much easier. You cant even take the tray out to tip it in an older container. Not happy Jan.

This was one of the first nude by nature products i have tried, and let me tell you i was far from disappointed. I used this to lock in and set my under eye concealer and it did this perfectly. it didn't crease and gave me a smooth airbrushed look. It doesn't leave a white mask over your foundation and is overall a great product.This product is great for the price. It comes with a-lot of product and would last you a long time. When first purchasing this product i initially didn't think much of it, i kept in in my makeup draws for a few months and only recently used it when running out of my other powder. Great professional matte finish

This is a truly beautiful finishing powder. I love nude by nature and this product does not disappoint. The little pot it comes in is quite luxe and feels like a treat. It’s a good price and a little goes a long way so I feel it’s great value for money. The powder itself is very finely milled and super soft. I apply it with a kabuki brush and it delivers great results. It sets my makeup perfectly for a really professional finish, it feels light to wear and lasts really well throughout the day. It helps absorb oil which is great for me as I tend to have an oily tzone. I love that it’s cruelty free and contains no nasties and no scent so it’s perfect for my sensitive skin, giving it a matte look but nice glow.Love this powder and will be purchasing it again. I have used cornsilk satin loose foundation for years and I loved it. Unfortunately cornsilk is no longer being made. The only thing that I didn't like about cornsilk was that it contained parabens and I try to avoid products that have them in them. This product is completely natural, it goes on and blends in beautifully, it reduces shine and you would not know from looking at the skin that there was any foundation on it. In my opinion, this foundation is just as good as cornsilk with the added bonus that it is made from natural ingredients. The price is a bit steep as cornsilk used to be under 10, but then as I have said before, this product (to my knowledge) is made from entirely natural products, so that may be part of the reason why it costs more.
