After using Valvoline Synpower 0W-20 in the last two services for my Corolla, I switched to this. I'd like to tell you that I noticed a difference. I didn't. The reality is that any oil meeting the ILSAC-GF6A standard is a really good oil because that standard sets a really high bar.The new Apex+ generation of this oil has a fancier package, but underneath it no longer contains Moly DTC, a lubricant which Nulon previously used to differentiate itself from the competition. So there isn't really much to differ between this, Penrite and Valvoline any more, except price specials. Two more interesting comparisons from Europe, Castrol Edge (which has fluid titanium lubricant added) and Shell (synthesised from natural gas and probably cleaner as it ages) aren't stocked ... The oil I received is not quite the one I ordered. I have been using the one pictured above. I received Nulon Apex +. It is close enough I think and I will use it.
