I bought this oil a month ago. It looked so beautiful in it's matching package I was reluctant to spoil it by opening it! But when I did, wow! The bouquet took me to far away exotic wrecking yards. It poured so well out of package and looked so sweet. The engine still goes after several weeks. I'm just so happy about this product I needed to share my experience!

Seems to protect the engine well. Stays cleaner for longer and lasts longer. My owner's manual recommends a service interval of 15,000km. Before using Nulon APEX+ 5W-30 Long Life, I would change oil every 10,000km. Now oil looks too clean to change, so have gone out to 15,000km.

I purchased two 6 litre containers on special and a Ryco oil filter for a BA XR6 non turbo. It took a full 6 litre container so now I have one full container for my next oil change. Excellent value for money for a full synthetic oil, also it is Australian made. I will continue to use Nulon products.

Can’t go wrong with this one!! Latest ILSAC GF-6A spec, including the ‘Dexos1 GEN3’ approval. So it’s the right motor oil for my Commodore V6 and mums Corolla. Been using Nulon oils for 4 years now, I switched from Castrol Magnatec. No issues with sludging, varnishing or oil burn. Oil on the dip stick still golden brown even after 10,000 kilometres! Top quality for everyday vehicles, including most manufacturers except for European. I am not connected with Supercheap Auto or Nulon
I currently own two 2003 Holden VY Utes. One is a V6 & the other a V8. Both of them use this oil. Always try & buy when on special & I've found this engine oil better than the other brands. If you've not tried it, have a go & see the difference.
Had used the old version of Nulon LongLife (No APEX+) for my previous two services without problems in total 17,000 km in one year, the one just done this week is the APEX+ version. I monitored the idle rpm during the red light and found it was 50 rpm lower than the previous generation oil. As reliable as before and even better now definitely recommend it.
Like just about all consumers of this product, I have no scientific basis to form an opinion on this oil other than price and colour of the container. It seems to be at least as good as other brands of "better quality oil". Scientific papers I have read suggest that full synthetic oils provide superior lubrication and last longer. Given that I have not altered the interval between servicings, I cannot comment on that. I have used other brands of full synthetic oil and I can't tell the difference - of course I am not a scientist nor and engineer so no one could expect me to.
Ive been running it in multiple high performance and modified vehicles for more than 25 years now and those engines as a result of excellent oil remained in excellent working order, Know a good thing! stick with it!
This Oil works really well in my Aurion, gives little to no noise and works great. If you have an Aurion and need Oil, try this Brand, but NOT the 10L bottle. The bottle has NO markings on it for L, so you just have to guess and that is not only dangerous but can damage things. Overfilling is almost as bad as underfilling, and with this 10L bottle both are very real possibilities.
Ran it in my Holden Cruze for 12,000ks before it started to darken. Previous experience with semi synthetic 15W 50 in my Commodore converted me to Nulon.Has the backing and research resources of Fuchs I believe so they are right up there with hyped brands and a lot cheaper.
