Really disappointed with the taste of the mango gummies. It tastes so artificially sweet, I actually find it really hard to eat them and get the taste out of my mouth. My daughter eats almost everything and she just spits this out. I think we’ll have to add real juice to it next time to be able to tolerate them. We’ll just buy good quality gelatine and make them ourselves next time!

After two attempts of trying to make these gummies, I’m at a loss. The measurements seem really out of whack and make well over double of what the molds can hold, so there is a lot of excess and after two attempts, the can is almost empty. A third of a cup is a lot of powder mixed with 100ml and then an extra 250ml of water for 6 small molds. Then the gummies seem to set almost immediately when put in the fridge and are really plastic-y and hard to chew, so I’ve had to throw them out. Such a shame as I’ve spent a lot of money on the can and the molds and excited to use them. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but I just find them really unpleasant and expensive :(

It took 12mths but my now 5yr old lobes them. My step kids now love them now as well.Me personally not a fan of the mango one. It taste slaty to me.We have made seperate ones and have layed them in 2&3 flavours.Highly recommend to anyone trying to get an extra bit of nutrition into there kids

Sorry Nutra Organics but I really wanted to like these . Here is what I found:Recipe was for too many. I just wanted it for the one mould because they expire quickly plus I didn’t have any other moulds buying this pack for each flavour.More like a hard jelly than a gummy texture so I was a bit disappointed but that’s honestly fine.Was nice but had an artificial sugar taste which was okay but put us off a bit so I would probably prefer a more natural flavour.The moulds are lovely but are flimsier than I expected so I spilt the mixture even when carefully transferring to the fridge to set.To other customers, I still think they’re worth a try. I love what they’re about . Cheers
I was so very excited for these, as I have never mastered making gummies direct from gelatine myself. However, my kids and I were not a fan of these at all. Very strong strawberry flavour and an overpowering sweet scent that is off putting.The sweetener used was was too powerful making them taste sickly and then leave a weird coating on side of mouth after.I love all other Nutra Organics products, but these unfortunately need a bit more work to make them better!
I found they gelled really well. I havnt given them to the grandkids yet, I love them. I do add Natvia to both the strawberry and mango ones, especially the mango, had a bitter aftertaste after my first taste but better with added Natvia. Surely they are not just for kids? Good for my gut too.
After reading a few of the reviews here, I wanted to say that I made these gummies yesterday for the first time and they turned out perfectly. I really took my time though. I added the powder very very slowly, a tiny bit at a time, to the initial 100ml of water - whisking the whole time. And then I added the 250ml of boiling water slowly to that mix, a tiny bit at a time, making sure that I was stirring thoroughly the whole time. The gummies turned out perfectly - very smooth with no grainy-ness or lumps at all. So I think that you just need to take your time with it , go slow and it will turn out well. The kids and I loved them.
My mother in law bought these and the forms for our son. They are so nasty. He won't eat it. I took them to playgroup where multiple kids tried and refused them. They told me to mix it with juice, ok I did and added heaps of honey. Only way my son will eat it. I would throw it away if it wasn't mil who bought it.
These are fun and super easy to make, I made regular gummies, strawberry creams and gummies dipped in chocolate. But there is a taste like artifical sweetener/flavour. (I know it doesn't have this in the ingredients) I have tried adding honey, maple syrup, dipping in choc, and tried the 3 different recipes but nothing seems to mask that flavour. No one in my house will eat it so I'm pretty bummed as I wanted to try the other flavours and have some fun but I'm glad I didn't buy them all.
The taste is okay, very artificial, but the kids like it still. The texture if you follow the instructions on the packet make very hard gummies and they are not very present. I will being playing around be playing with the recipe for the next batch and hopefully make some better textured one. We use the unflavoured gelatin to make homemade gummies all the time and love those so I think we will probably just stick to that.
