This thing is so powerful and u love that I can just select the “smoothie” button and it knows how long to blend it from there. I love using this after the gym for protein shakes with spinach and frozen banana. The downside is that it is SO loud, like wow. I have to cover my ears, but that is also a sign of how powerful it is. Love that I can take the lid with the blade off and just put the drinking lid on and go. Plus it goes easily in the dishwasher!

I love that it comes with 3 different size blending cups. It’s so convenient to pull out and put away quickly with easy clean up. Blends instantly and easy with one small push. This is also powerful it crushes the big chunks of ice and frozen fruit smoothly. The only cons I can see is the noise of blending is quite loud. Other than that, it’s a great blender

I’ve used this blender for about two months now. I clean the blades after each use, including using a brush to get into the groves where the blade screws to the cup. After a while I started noticing a nasty sour smell. I cleaned and soaked the blade so may times with no use. Finally I tried removing the rubber seal on the inside, which is extremely hard to get to - I had to wedge two butter knives in there to wiggle it out - and was horrified to find bits of food and nasty gunk underneath. While it’s common sense to remove the rubber seal for cleaning, I didn’t think to do so since it was in such an inconvenience spot. Now I’ll definitely be doing so after each use. The smell was horrible. This blender would get 5 stars if it wasn’t for the design flaw. Works great ... MoreI’ve used this blender for about two months now. Highly recommend. High power/professional.

The most high-powered, efficient small blender i've ever owned. This thing is an absolute beast, it will puree absolutely anything in a breeze, from bisques to smoothies, to dips and sauces, it works perfectly. Very heavy machine, which tells you it has a solid motor in it, this is a professional machine and would do absolutely fine in any restaurant. Glad to have this in my kitchen, worth every penny.

Just buy the non-pro
5 April 2021

I used to have the smaller Ninja blender, and liked it. I needed a new one, and this pro version was only a few bucks more, so I figured I might as well. I regret my choice. 1) It's big. At least twice as big as the non-pro version. This defeats the purpose, in my opinion, of having a dedicated smoothie blender like this. It takes up way more counter space. If I wanted something this big, I would just get a traditional style blender. 2) It's loud. Blenders are always loud, but this is significantly louder than the smaller one, to the point that it's almost painful. 3) It stays on. You operate it by pushing down on the cup to blend, and letting go to stop. This works great on the smaller version, but on this one the weight of the larger cup holds it down so it does not always shut off when I let go. This is somewhere between an annoyance and a safety hazard. 4) Sometimes it doesn't blend. It seems prone to the contents getting a little stuck up on the walls so the blade just spins not doing anything, requiring me to jostle it so the contents fall back down onto the blade. Pretty minor, but it does happen noticeably more often then it ever did with the smaller one. The main benefit of this version is that it's more powerful, but smaller non-pro version was plenty powerful enough for your average smoothie. Unless you have a specific reason that you know you need the extra power, I recommend saving a couple bucks and getting the smaller version.

Louder and Underperforms My Old NutriBullet
6 December 2019

I bought this to replace my 5 year old NutriBullet after seeing the great reviews and good price ($60), I opted to give it a shot as the more powerful motor (900 watts in Ninja vs 600 in NB) seemed like a good thing. I was wrong. The motor only seems to be good for creating an obscene amount of noise. Plus, it sounds like it's working a lot harder to make my morning smoothie than my old NB. It also doesn't smooth (I guess that's the term) as well as my old NB. I make the same smoothie every morning and the NB never left chunks, but I've always got a chunk or two with the Ninja. I think this has to do with the cup. Both use 24oz cups, the the Ninja's is taller and narrower - and so is the blade setup on the cover - and I think this impacts all ingredients making ... MoreI bought this to replace my 5 year old NutriBullet after seeing the great reviews and good price ($60), I opted to give it a shot as the more powerful motor (900 watts in Ninja vs 600 in NB) seemed like a good thing. Cups and covers, including blending cover, are also nicer quality. But the increased noise and decreased performance make this a hard product to recommend. It's not awful, so that's why I gave it three and not one or two stars. It's just a baby's hair above average.

Super easy smoothies - Cheers!

The Ninja Pro Table Top Blender is a breeze when you want to get out the door in a hurry but also want to ensure that you've started off your day with a proper breakfast. It takes about 60 seconds to throw together a healthful meal - a few quick pulses of the fruit that you can keep in the freezer if you've purchased too much (yep, constantly!), add some spinach or other greens that I promise you won't taste, throw in some protein powder and chia seeds, almond milk and maybe some avocado, and you feel like you're drinking a fruity dessert for breakfast. No need to add honey or any other sweetener, just wholesome goodness from the grocer stand - the Ninja's blender is also your drinking cup, so pop on the sip-top and you're out the door! Really amazing and a bargain at Best Buy's price-match of $59.99. Can't be beat. Tip: Don't bother with the more costly automatic version, as the motor burns out and is generally not nearly as well-built. The basic is a powerful little workhorse at 1000 watts and you're only standing there pressing it down for a few seconds and that's it. You're gonna love this little thingie! While I've enjoyed my Ninja for a long time, (and paid $99 at the time) I've recently purchased two more as gifts and the recipients couldn't be more pleased. Enjoy! (Oh, and it comes with a nifty little recipe book to get you started on a few ideas, but really you can toss in just about anything you have sitting in the fridge - experiment and see what you like!)

Think you cleaned your blender well for next use? Think again.

A few months of blissfully blending fruit smoothies I never noticed a problem until I happened to use the blender to make a chili sauce. I always carefully clean my blender cup/blades immediately after use. But the next time I took out the blade cap to use again, to my horror chunks of dried, blackened chili sauce fell out! The smell was RANCID. As another reviewer mentioned, there is a rubbery seal inside the blade cap (presumably to secure the blade cap to the cup) that traps bits of food. No amount of scrubbing will get at the food pieces that get stuck there unless you take out the rubber seal entirely, and that's nearly impossible. I've somehow fished it out and am soaking it in bleach but the smell is so bad I don't know if it'll help. Underpowered disappointment

This is one of the worst blenders I have ever used. I make a smoothie almost daily while working remotely from home. Each and every day I have tried to utilize this blender has been a pain. My ingredients consist of frozen strawberries, fresh banana, oats, ground flax seed, yogurt, and spinach. Aside from the frozen strawberries, there is nothing else that should give any issue with blending. This blender will try blending for about a second or 2 and then cut out. I have to continuously hit the button over and over, take the container off the unit to shake it a bunch, put it back on, and repeat a few times before it work properly and finish the job.I've heard great things about Ninja, but this first impression is a terrible one and I am reluctant to ever purchase ... MoreThis is one of the worst blenders I have ever used. You need it, you just don't know it yet
15 April 2022

When it comes to kitchens, there are plenty of gadgets and gizmo's you can buy. I knew we would use this "occasionally" as in a couple times a year, but come to find out, this is in the top 3 of all the kitchen appliances in our home. I attribute that to the fact it is powerful and actually blends things. It is able to rival anything you use to blend, mix, puree....ECT. Since you get the best smoothies, milkshakes, sauces and everything else, you find yourself breaking it out all the time! Super easy to clean, limited parts to get food stuck in, and overall simple to use. If you think you might use one, then this will show you that you HAVE to have one.
