I do not need to overstate the benefits of L-Citrulline, and I guess any respectable brand, especially one that has undergone independent testing would do.As for Nutricost, I take it as one of the better brands out there in terms of promised quality and certainly value for money in this package of 2500mg (two capsules) per serving. I take one capsule twice a day though and the fact that it's in capsule form is certainly easier than powdered in terms of dosage.

Easier than the Powder

I prefer this than the powdered form as its easier to take instead of having to mix with water, not to mention the powdered version (i had the malate version) taste sourish possibly due to the malate. Just take note though, the malate version has its own benefits. I take citrulline together with arginine for the synergistic effect in ensuring nitric oxide in the body. I tend to use nutricost for citrulline as am pretty confident with the brand for this.

I should’ve stuck with NOW brand

I figured I’d to and save a few bucks and try this brand instead of my usual NOW brand. So far, not happy. I just opened the bottle to take a few and noticed my hands and fingers were coated with white powder. Either the manufacturer has a very messy area where these are filled and there’s loose powder all over the place or several of the capsules in the bottle have opened. Either possibility tells me that this brand has very poor quality control. I don’t want to risk putting anything in my body that’s made a facility that has such poor quality control. I personally don’t want any supplement that goes into my body to have been made at a facility that puts profits over quality control.Needless to say I won’t be buying anything from this brand. All of their products seems well below the price of everything else and it shows that they cut cost in areas that result in us receiving a less-than-acceptable quality product. My advice is to avoid this brand in general. They’re clearly focused on having the cheapest product on the market and their cost cutting methods to get that cheap price show.

It works
6 November 2023

As a 75 yr old male I need a little help. I was told it helped with ED and decided to give it a try. Now I take one full recommended dose every morning. I think one has to take it for a while before seeing the desired results. It isn't a replacement for Viagra but it helps and I take less Viagra because of this and since I take it daily it helps me to sleep because before I started taking this I never had morning wood and was always up early to go to the bathroom. Now I sleep in more often. I checked it out and there are some possible side effects but after a year or more I haven't had any.

Ok so it does work ! But have a few issues
13 October 2023

Ok L-Citruline does work , if you're wanting to get gains in bedroom you can not just take 2 pills a day and that's it! The recommended daily dosage for L-Citruline to help with ED is 4 - 6 grams daily that equals to about 6 to 8 capsules since each is 750mg. If you're taking the dosage on bottle it won't work, I'm going thru a 180 pill bottle in about two weeks. With that being said , the problem I have encountered , is that in every bottle I have purchased there has been 2 -3 empty capsules were the powder is spilled all inside the bottle! probably capsules not sealed correctly during production. that's 2-3 less pills each bottle. I fell company should do better QC on their product.

Seems quality product as i see good early results...
19 November 2023

Composition and dosing is same as one of the reputable videos seen on youtube. Watched also other videos and i think this product hits the right dosage. Also a quality product as it was similarly recommended by other nutritionists. So far I start to see the benefit I require from it. Size of the pill is quite big but still easy to swallow so no issues there. Will continue to use and will purchase again after i finished the bottle. Thank you iherb for this effective yet very affordable product...

VERY GOOD
19 September 2023

Sure, I can write a review about citrulline! Citrulline is an amino acid that is converted in the body into arginine, a precursor to nitric oxide. Nitric oxide helps to increase blood flow, improving vasodilation and nutrient delivery to the muscles during exercise. Personally, I find that citrulline provides great support during intense workouts. It helps me feel more energized, reduces muscle fatigue, and improves my endurance. I definitely recommend citrulline to anyone looking to enhance their performance during training! 💪🏋️‍♀️

Work in progress

I found nothing bad about this product after considerable research. Partial morning wood within 24 hours after years of none. I am 71 YOA and taking 3 BP meds. My first motivation is BP related and ED is secondary. My first ED event showed an obvious improvement. I always chart my BP and there is a noticeable downward improvement in BP over a week or so. Literature is non existent on correct dosage, but I started very low to see where I needed to be. I am aware of a small study where 3 grams per day was administered with about a 50% improvement in the control group. I started out at 1.5 grams per day and will be gradually increasing it. You can't just take it and say it doesn't work if you don't get morning wood. Don't let morning wood be your only benchmark. You can't just take it and say it doesn't work if you don't get morning wood. Don't let morning wood be your only benchmark. You must experiment with the dosage that will work for you. I have read there really is no risk even at high dosages. I actually feel like I am thinking more clearly and have more day to day muscle stamina working around my farm. It makes sense because blood is now getting to more places than before. So my next step will be to bump up to 3mg per day, or even higher. My goal is to find the right dosage and get off at least one of the BP meds.Don't be confused about having to pair it with L Arginine. Every thing I have read say it is not necessary. I read where your body metabolizes oral L Arginine before it can do any good. The L Citrulline is the trigger to start the natural L Arginine already present in your body.

Works well
17 February 2023

I first used only l-arginine to enhance circulation but I think this works better. Over time it seemed I needed higher doses of l-arginine to get the same benefit. I am now using this citrulline along with arginine and noticing a difference. I can sometimes feel my body respond to a dose of citrulline soon after taking it. These type of supplements really do lower blood pressure and improve circulation. I have avoided going on prescription meds for blood pressure control. It does help improve blood flow to extremities and genitals for me as well.

good supplement
16 September 2024

I am using this brand for the first time . i will update the effects and quality of this supplement and ingredients after using it for some more days. L citruline is my favourite amino acid which has benefits for health. i use it for energy and muscle training and circulatory health. L citruline is not available in general protein rich diets . Packaging was good . The size of the capsules is perfect and has no taste . Also the composition of this supplement is good .
