The product: - can be battery operated - does not require exotic power - can have external files loaded onto it - can have separate stop/play switches using the external foot switch unit - has different stop modes which is useful, although these seem to have to be set every time a new sample is played - will not automatically play the samples once then stop, which is annoying but not insurmountable - is sturdily constructed - is actually good value for money

This little package is packed with a lot of playing options along with 6 hours of recording time. It really makes my practicing experience much more enjoyable. Hard to beat the Nux Loop for the price. I just enjoy playing for myself or with a friend or two and this really enhances the experience. Small, lightweight and very easy to pack along wherever you go.
This is only an initial assessment of the Nux Core Looper. It arrived quickly. I have tried it out through a Marshall half- stack, a Peavey VK II 20 combo, and a little Blackstar Fly. It is a little noisy on the Marshall but what isn't. It can be used for simple looping, along with more complex functions that I have not tried as of yet. The simple looper is l what I have used it for thusfar. I have tried the drums and seems like this will be quite an awesome pedal once I figure everything out. The quality of loops are nice. Will add addendum in a couple months for full review.
I haven't had this pedal long, but so far, so good. I think that, if your buying this as a practice tool, you will be happy with it. It takes a bit of experimenting to figure out how to use everything, but it's not expensive and has some really nice futures. I don't know about the computer interface. I probably won't use that anyway. I will get a lot of use out of this when learning new songs.
