I bought this to practice bass guitar quietly through headphones. This little unit does that and so much more. Within an hour after charging the device I had installed the mobile app, customized presets, and recorded tracks directly to GarageBand on my iPad via the USB C connection. Amazing features for such a small package!

The only reason I did not give this a Five is that to run the Amp software on a Mac, it must be an M1 processor. Also, it is not obvious how to move custom backing tracks into the Amp software for playback. It can be done but you really need to do some research and get a little lucky with your effort.Quality is excellent and the sound is amazing once you getIt running. Wish there were more acoustic amp capabilities.For electronic guitars, this is great.

I purchased the Fender mini when it came out .it was OK, but I got bored with it. The NUX Mighty pro on the other hand was amazing. So many options and a drum kit play along tracks and recording I haven't put it down for hours.this definitely blows the mustang away.get one you won't regret it My only gripe about it was updating the firmware but I eventually got it done

I bought this to take with me when traveling. Great platform for doing that. Lots of options and very portable. The sound is very harsh/trebly in my headphones with my guitars. I have to filter a lot of the highs out. Might just be my setup. Also, the only stereo effect is the pan delay
I dont get out of work till 9:00 at night and my wife is already in bed by then bcuz she goes to work at 4:00 a.m. so this little amp comes in handy. And it gets really close to original sounds from many different amps. The app lets you tweak all the different amps and pedals to however you like it so i can get really close to my sound i get from my pedal board and amps. I have yet to move to the digital world with plug ins but this mighty plug pro headphone amp has me really interested in at least trying out some of the different plug ins available. Hell of a cool little amplifier honestly
I originally tried the Fender Mustang Micro but found that its controls were difficult to reach and it was inflexible in terms available sounds. The NUX Mighty Plug Pro, like the Mustang Micro, has a set of sounds that can be used right out of the box. Its real power, however, is that its sounds can be configured via its desktop/mobile app, which turns it into a software-controlled multi-effects device. I have configured all seven of its memory slots for bass, and I even plugged a mic into it and used it for my my sax! It's an outstanding product.
I've been playing guitar for 25-plus years, and have gone through a dump truck full of gear over those years. THIS IS THE BEST PRODUCT I'VE EVER BOUGHT! Don't know how else to say it! The sound, tone, and feel is INSANE. I'm a real dude looking for tone - FOUND IT!
I own the last version. I own the Fender mustang. For me this is the best headphone amplifier. The phone app allows me to get the sounds I like just right. Surf guitar,jazz,rock,metal,it can do it all.

I'm supposed to struggle with whether to return it now or just learn to deal with it. It had been so long since going otherwise that I'd totally forgotten that once in a super rare while, maybe b/c my good deed count + sum of past sufferings punches thru some magic karmic threshold and a shockingly good thing happens.So a full day passed b4 I had time to do the Nux MPP a sesh. It was a day wasted. This lil fkr's factory presets pleasantly suprised me. I cant believe the power and features that this unit offer. From cell phone control, to recording, includes guitar and bass amps, Nux will destroy the market, this unit just replaced my Boss GT-1, Pod HD 500 and the guitar section of my tc helicon voicelive 3. Easy to carry , awesome effects, and very low price, no noticeable latency, and battery last enough for my gigs at church. Shimmer effect is killer and much better than many other units more expensive, I am really serious in getting also the nux mg30. Nux amps sound really good.
