Bought a three piece set and the grips have all come loose and slipped/moved on the handles with very little use. I haven’t been able to get them to stay in place and don’t use them because of these terrible loose grips

Having never owned a NWS product before I bought these a couple of months ago based on the fact that they were German made compared to most of the other major brands that were made in either China or Vietnam. They have been very solid so far through light/medium use, both plier heads are dead level and the snips are strong without being so sharp as to nicking your fingers.I would absolutely buy more NWS products based off this set.

NWS tools are cheap considering the quality. They are tough and very hard to damage the teeth or the cutting edges. The don't rust if you get them wet! Left the pliers out in the rain for a couple of days and they still work perfectly (haven't gone tight). As for the person that said they don't use them as the handle grips are loose... a couple of drops of super-glue will fix that (obviously!!).I'm a trades person, and use NWS tolls in a professional manner... they are excellent. Bet I've ever used.

A great set of high quality pliers at a reasonable price !
Only owned a week and used each a few times but they seem very well made and very strong material. Can’t go wrong with German made tools.
Worthless junk, the handles all come loose and fall off.
My Irwin set has proved to be of rather average quality over ~5yrs of ownership, and is beat up from automotive use. Went in to Bunnings with the intention of upgrading to a Wiha chrome finish set, only to find Bunnings no longer sell the set I'd been eyeing off.Purchased the NWS and am happy with them so far; the joints are smooth with a light oiling and minor break in period, all the cutters are tight with no light visible through the jaws, and the grips are comfortable. There is almost no play in the joints, and I am particularly happy with the quality of the needle nose pliers compared to my cheaper Irwin items.I would have preferred the chrome finish as I found the chrome Wiha cutters I've used ing the past to be excellent, requiring very little ... MoreMy Irwin set has proved to be of rather average quality over ~5yrs of ownership, and is beat up from automotive use. Bought these after seeing an nws review online. Not going to lie these things kinda feel like toys from a kids play set. I would recommend spending the extra money and either getting the next model up or springing for wiha
