Nylabone - Advanced Oral Care Cat Dental Kit

I would love it if my dogs would just enjoy the act of brushing their teeth! I have tried several of the different flavors (I will try anything!!) to entice them, but they are NOT fans. I have been brushing their teeth for years now, so getting used to it is not the issue. I know that it is not their natural way of doing things and I think that's why I have to fight them. I actually got the dental kit with both the long toothbrush (for my XL American Pit Bull) and the finger brush + 1 additional brush purchased (for my XS chihuahuas). While they don't like it, I have found that if you can manage daily or every other day brushing, their breath is not so bad. It's OK if you can keep your dog still enough. I don't think it has a big enough brush really. Mainly use the toothpaste and have bought a different brush. Dogs like the flavor. The brushing not so much. It's a good price compared to other brands.

Pearly whites for my pet pooch! My 10 month old Golden Retriever absolutely loves her ! Every time I break out the brush, she’s at my feet begging! I never thought a dog would enjoy having their canines cleaned. I’m guessing it is the flavored paste. She’s always drooling and bouncing around as if it were a steak! The little finger brush didn’t stand up to her chompers, but the actual toothbrush is quite durable. I feel like I’m in an episode of WWE whilst trying to wrestle the toothbrush from her mouth, but this set comes off the top rope and body slams plaque and bad breath! I use it on her 3 times a week, and her teeth are healthy and white.

Nemo loves the flavor of the toothpaste, and it's very effective at removing visible plaque and giving him fresh breath. The rubber finger sleeve is better for smaller puppy mouths, but I've had a few fingers chomped on using it! The brush head is small enough for puppies as well, but I wish it had a double-sided head for more efficient brushing. Overall, a great intro kit for getting you puppy used to tooth brushing.

First of all, the toothpaste smells.. weird. BUT, my dog seems to genuinely enjoy it. The brush is the perfect size for him teeth and I’m able to reach the top and bottom back teeth because of the brushes angled head. Cost affective and a really solid product! It has definitely made a difference in my pups dental care 😊

Both of our dogs had DISGUSTING teeth. We bought this and immediately we saw a giant improvement in both of our dogs oral health. My wife (with my assistance holding open the jaws of death) uses it at least monthly and there is significantly less buildup. Hoping the pups will keep their pearly whites healthy and in their head for years to come!

I really like this set. I bought it because CET wasn't available at my local pet store. I was expecting something meat-flavored or meat-scented to entice the cats, but was pleasantly surprised when the scent was slightly vanilla. That is definitely something I can get on board with. It leaves our cat's breath with a hint of sweet vanilla - much better than cat food breath! I started off introducing it to our younger cat by letting her lick the toothpaste off of my finger, and then giving her a treat, and then transitioned to licking it off the toothbrush. I really, really like that this comes with both a finger brush and a toothbrush because the former lets you get more into brushing your cat's teeth because you can feel where you're brushing and with what pressure ... MoreI really like this set. I really, really like that this comes with both a finger brush and a toothbrush because the former lets you get more into brushing your cat's teeth because you can feel where you're brushing and with what pressure through your finger, whereas the latter distances hands and protects your finger with fidgety or anxious cats who may (accidentally) get a nip into unsuspecting hands. Also, since we have two cats, we use the finger brush for one and the toothbrush for the other. Even though they're both cats, my mind rests a little easier when they're not sharing toothbrushes. It lasts a long time and is readily available, so I will be repurchasing once our first tube is finished.

I got a dinosaur shaped teeth cleaning'chew toy' from nylabone and was shocked that after just a few mins Savannah had broken off a piece of the dinosaurs head. So glad I was watching her because that's not supposed to happen. She now has a liquid dental additive that goes in her water I buy from a vet I online. She also has a rawhide type flat chew two-three times weekly. No more nyla bones for her strong jaws!!

No complaints

The toothpaste is good, my boy likes the taste, it has the calcium which is good for their teeth and gums, and it lasts a while. I like the brush also as the rubber bristles prevent minor bleeding if I missed a few days of brushing-other brushes were too harsh and caused bleeding at times. I still find it hard to get to the top of the molars, but, that’s an issue with my boy as he just clamps down on the brush lol. All in all I like it and will continue to purchase.

I came across this kit online at a great deal and had to grab it since the entire kit was less than the regular price of a tube of this toothpaste by itself.....the extra toothbrush & finger brush can go to mom for her dogs! Ordered online and picked up the same day at my local store so saved even more. Petco has really proved to have the best deals over the past couple of years! I have always used the Nylabone w/ "Denta C" toothpaste for my dogs. I like the smell of this plain toothpaste plus the bacteria prevention compared to the "Natural", "Peanut" or "Chicken" flavors (no matter what brand you buy, those all smell weird)! It is SO important to keep up on your dog's teeth and I trust the Nylabone brand!
