You can still rub your lips together. These lipsticks are very saturated so what you see is what you get! This lipstick is a matte formula however the application is very different from the velvet matte lipsticks from NYX. Be sure to exfoliate your lips, use a lip balm or a lip moistureizer before applying this lipstick or else it will settle between the lines of your lips. In this photo, before applying this lipstick I hydrated my lips with 100% pure coconut oil. Pure coconut oil is the best thing to hydrate your lips with. As your lips are hydrated you can build the colour on your lips. I know that there are quite a few who dislike scent in makeup products, I don’t particularly care either way. However, I generally prefer that my lip products have a nice, sweet scent. I’ve had lipsticks and glosses that were unscented, but the smell of the ingredients were off putting and so I never wore them. I’ve had lip products with floral scents, which I’m also not a fan of. It can be like having perfume on your lips. These smell sweet, not crazy strong, and a bit like almonds. I like it. And… the formula is pretty amazing. I feel like these don’t get as much hype as they should. Excellent pigment with one swipe coverage. Very comfortable. And they have a beautiful, velvety matte finish. I highly recommend them. The packaging is super cute too.

Amazing formula

I LOVE these lipsticks! They have a nice creamy formula and smooth application while also giving a nice matte appearance on the lips. Without it feeling too dry or drying!I plan on buying more of these, I love the quality, feel and great colors that compliment me in what I'm looking for. They aren't transfer proof but that's okay, they don't bleed or smudge for me. Lasts all day at work too. Doesn't need much touch ups throughout the day. These are an everyday go to wear for me. Absolutely love them! They even stay on after I eat food, I'm impressed! They're also such a great price !!

Excellent quality and affordable

I am so in love with these lipsticks! I've usually worn Estée Lauder, Clinique, Bare Minerals etc and I like this Nyx lipstick better than any of those other brands!! It goes on nice and smooth and the color doesn't look terrible when it fades. Colors in order Brunch Me, Cannes, Girl Bye (arrived broken), Vintage, Moonwalk, Alien. I'm hoping I will get a replacement for the broken lipstick. I wish the lipstick tubes themselves were a little more substantial but at this price point I can't complain too much. The formula is spot on so that's all that matters!

Great Matte Lippies

I really love this matte suede formula. I bought Free Spirit first and have been using it a LOT as a warm neutral with soft looks. I finally bought Brunch Me today, after debating it for a long while because so many reviews said it pulled orange for them... but I LOVE it and it's probably the best nude pink for me, like "my lip but better." I've never been able to find one until now. Brunch Me actually seems very neutral to me, neither warm nor cool. I have a feeling it might look more orange for people with olive tones - I think Free Spirit would be better for olive tones. I have fair-neutral skin and my lips are I guess slightly pinky-mauve? Lovely Lipstick But Poor Website Performance

Bought this as a stocking filler for my daughter for Christmas. She chose the colour herself so I know she will like it. The lipstick was delivered quickly and is good quality but my only issue was with the website. It was very difficult to place the order and took several attempts before I was able to successfully place the order. The lipstick would show up in the shopping cart but then when I went to check out it would disappear. It took several days before I could place the order so I don't know if there was a fault with the website. For some reason it would only let me order one item at a time so I had to pay two lots of delivery charges. For this reason I've only given a score of three stars instead of a five star rating

NYX Professional Makeup Suede Matte Lipstick - Vegan Formula

I have been a long-time fan of NYX lip products for years now. I recently purchased a color as a replacement for one that had reached its end. The overall wear is great. Last for hours - especially if not eating or drinking often. If you are eating and drinking, you may want to reapply for a fresh look. It's not drying (however I base all lipstick I wear with vaseline). The price point is good. Easy to remove as well, doesn't stain lips. Overall, it's a really good lipstick.

Store Stock NYX Suede Matte Lipstick

While this brand is very affordable and has good products, I am rating the NYX Suede lipsticks stock in my local Walmart. I recommend checking the batch codes for freshness. Typical at many Walmarts, patrons open caps to see the actual colors (but they normally don't touch the product). They just look at the shade and replace the cap. Browsing for a new lipstick locally, I looked on several "new" intact bullet lipsticks from the NYX suede matte line. The lipstick product had visible white fuzzy patches on various parts of the lipstick surface. It was not a big fluffy cotton ball type fuzz. It was definitely there and resembled when something is going bad in the early stages of mold growth. Very Opaque

I heard great things about this so I gave it a try. I got the shade "Alien". As a goth, finding a true black shade can be tricky. This does the job. It doesn't stay on the longest and rubs off easily, but all in all it is a great lipstick. This formula doesn't fully dry, and doesnt go crusty. It has a nice non greasy moisturizing feel. My only issue was that wearing it for more than a couple hours irritates my lip piercing (done several years ago). Other than that it's perfect.
