Nyx Professional Makeup Born to Glow Naturally Radiant Foundation - Alabaster

So i promised that i would NOT purchase ANYMORE Foundation as of 2020 and start "Project Pan" aka using all open and already owned products....but i couldn't help myself...im a make up junkee lol. I purchased this not even really planning on using it or liking it....OMG I WAS WRONG!!!! I have Normal skin (slightly dry in winter due to season but my skincare routine always makes up for the harsh weather) so I figured i didn't need a "Glowy" "Radiant" Foundation, since.its not a need of mine.and i leave more towards Natural Satin or Demi Matte Finishes. It is so so so creamy and mouse like but ultra light and weightless on the face and feels like your wearing absolutely NOTHING! But the coverage is so amazing it is.a Medium buildable coverage that makes.me.look like its my skin but it PERFECT and I can have a even smooth base but still have my freckles slightly slightly peek thru (which isnt that what a concealers for? Lol)! It makes me look like.its my natural freshly moisturized face, and isnt "Glowy" and I figured it would be....theres no crazy sheen or super shimmery additive in this Foundation that makes it look awkward. It wore absolutely beautifully! Ive worn it for over 10 hours and it looks just as amazing as it did as it was immediately applied it! Didnt move...didnt break up around my nose out forehead or settle into my smile lines I do set my entire face with a loose powder (mainly undereye concealer and cheek area) to blend bronzer and blush, highlighter,etc...which all those products applied great and as I always want and need them too...but honesty on a quick everyday made up for around the house or out store I prob wouldn't even set it because it naturally sets where I wouldn't worry about it breaking up or moving which I know allot of "luminous, radiant" foundations do! Not this NYX. I'm shocked and in love! Neutral Tan is my jam and works perfectly for my less sub kissed wintertime skin blending so quickly and easily for a flawless base that is so so natural looking, but stunning because you have a even gorgeous light weight formula that takes seconds to apply and blend! I'm obsessed and will purchase another!!! Love the packaging the less is better...super sanitary..squeeze tube...no clutter or big bulky packaging to be wasted or take up anymore space in my multiple foundation drawers and bins. Lol. This is front and center on ny Vanity ans is choose over all my other high end and drug store loves on the daily! Highly recommend and i test and wear so so many foundation's and I havent been this pleased with a NYX foundation ever! I'm excited to try the born to glow concealer even though I have too many concealers open and stacked up as is...but with the homerun the foundation is I can only have high hopes got the other products is the line up of NYX!

I've never experienced it breaking down or caking due to my oils coming through. Overall this is a really nice foundation for the price. It's one of my favourite foundations to mix and this is mainly how I use it - I add it to low and sheer coverage matte foundations to increase the coverage and radiance. Because of this I find it also plays well with other products and I'm yet to find a product it interacts badly with ✨ï¸

They have a wide range of dark and light tones. The texture is very thin and runny but not so much that it isn't manageable. A little bit goes a long way. Careful. You won't need more than a little bit from the bottle. The packaging is not bad at all. The bottle is so convenient. You can easily carry it in your purse for touch ups or whatever you want (though you probably won't really need touch ups much, the makeup seems to last a good eight hours). I've been rebuilding my makeup routine since I have less disposable income these days (yay, inflation!) and I am SO GLAD because this is my new holy Grail foundation. Nothing-- nothing!-- gives me the coverage and luminosity that this foundation gives me. Very nice product, leaves a nice glowy finish, would recommend to use a good primer underneath to achieve the best result. But be aware when the foundation sets it will seem a bit darker, than when you first apply it. So I would recommend, maybe going one shade lighter than usual. But very good for summer, when your skin is already a bit sunkissed. Besides that, the brand has a nice wide shade range, you can choose between 45 different shades. But it does seem to have a bit of a yellow undertone. The packing is quite nice, as it is in a tube form (which I mainly prefer, since you really can squeeze the last drop out of it). The size of the packing is also good, it doesn’t take up to much space, but still contains a good amount of product.

Amazing & Affordable! Shade Nude for Light Olive!!

I have combo skin with an oily tzone and dry patches from tretinoin use and this is my favorite affordable foundation. I am a foundation junky and I like it a lot better than a lot of expensive foundations too! It’s a nice thin formula but it has moisture and a thickness to it that’s hard to explain, but it’s a good thing. It blends in to your skin so easily and it leaves a beautiful radiant finish. I wouldn’t call it “glowy” exactly but it’s a perfect “your skin but better” finish but with very good coverage. It can definitely get to full coverage easily without looking cakey but it can be sheered out to a nice light medium coverage too. The shade range is a little wonky and it took me a minute to find my shade but once I did it is absolutely PERFECT! If you haven’t tried this yet I would highly recommend trying it if you like a radiant, dewy finish but also want some actual coverage. I will say the one thing I would change about this is the packaging. The tube would be fine if the hole was smaller. (Like the Urban Decay Hydromaniac foundation)…because the opening is bigger on the NYX it tends to run out or squirts out to much products when you’re trying to dispense. But this is a small price to pay for the price and the quality of this foundation. Plus don’t ever stop making this one NYX…I BEG YOU!!!!

Best foundation

Title says it all. It’s vegan, has great coverage, its mattifying but also gives you a healthy complexion. I wear this to work every day, wear it on nights out, in the summer, etc. it always gives great coverage and lasts all day. My skin is pretty sensitive and this has never bothered it. The tube is really small, or so it seems, but I’ve been using my tube for about a year and still have a little less than half and that’s from frequent use. A little goes a LONG way. I love this stuff, will be a lifelong buyer.

Better than anything - worth 4x the $$

I use retinol most nights, so I can't deal with foundation that clings to dryness. I need something hydrating enough that my skin doesn't turn to crepe when I smile but I CANNOT be shiny because my pores and lines would look insane. I use just a little and do a 2nd layer to build up coverage where needed.PAIR WITH: For me, hydration before anything is key. I'm loving the Ulta Hydrating Primer and a little Becca Skin Love on cheeks, forehead, browbones, and down the nose. No powder needed (for me). Doesn't crease, slide or get shiny. I actually prefer this undereye to this line's concealer, or to any IT or Tarte or Benefit concealer because I don't want to draw attention to the texture, just enough to cover the hint of blue in the bags. THEN I'll use a little tiny bit of setting powder right under the lash line.PREV USED: Used IT CC (Light in summer, mix Fair, Fair Light and Light otherwise) for many years but it made my large pores too noticeable + setting got too drying. Loreal Infallible Fresh Wear (420 True Beige) had good color and coverage but didn't blend like this does - it was all or nothing

Born to Glow foundation is great

I really really like this foundation. Just the right amount of coverage since it’s not too thick or thin. There is a subtle glow but not that “wet paint” look with other radiant foundations. A matte finish is a no no for my age (over 60). It also drys quickly so I can apply blush and be done. With different seasons I change my moisturizer and I always wear primer, so it doesn’t dry out on me or get greasy since I have normal to dry skin but with an oily forehead. It does not settle in my deep lines around my mouth .For the money it just can’t be beat. I can’t understand why it’s not carried in stores. I order more than one at a time since I dread the discontinued foundation discovery. This is the only foundation I use. The color is the closest if not exact match compared to any other foundation, high or low end. My shade is 6.5 Nude. I’ve read it is being discontinued and I’m very disappointed! NYX if this is being discontinued, PLEASE bring it back!! I do not want to use any other foundation. Longevity, color, formula, packaging, is all on point. A huge bonus is it doesn’t oxidize, covers breakout without accentuating them, and has a full coverage but natural finish.
