This is my match made in heaven goggles. The PRIZM lens was so perfectly clear and the large lens gives a nice field of view. The huge plus is that the L size fits over my glasses no problem. Even comes off without trying to take the glasses off too, very comfortable to wear. I don't even notice I'm wearing glasses with these because of how snug it hugs the arms of the glasses. Couldn't be happier! This fits on any face shape even though its a large, unlike other brands where I can only fit a M on my face but the L fitting over goggles would leave gaps around the cheek seal. Recommending to all my friends

This is the third time I have purchased the Oakley Flight Deck M Goggles. Absolutely love them. Great fit, they wear really well, and I love the lenses. I am sensitive to bright light and these are perfect. They also do well in low light conditions without changing to a yellow or pink lenses. These are the only goggles I will buy. I ski on average of four days a week and these goggles last for multiple seasons as long as you take care of them.

I like the thick foam and they fit my face well.Usually I would buy Asian fit goggles but Oakley's regular goggles fit very similar which provide greater selections.I have always have fogging issue with all my goggles. I think this coming season I will try to take them out and leave them air dry completely to see if that helps. The Prizm lenses are great, my go to lenses for all condition are Sapphire Iridium.

I am 15+ years Smith's user (most recent I/Os), and I think I am becoming a huge Oakley fan. The final deciding factor for me was fit, since I think they are very comparable bands. I wanted better peripheral vision goggles and all larger Smith's left a gap at my nose (tried even Asian fit, and I am not Asian). The Oakley's fit like a glove, and have an amazing field of view. I am one of those folks that don't like changing lenses often, so I had 25 VLT lenses on my old pair, and barely changed them, so I had a bit of a concern with the rating of 15 VLT on the Oakley Iridium lens. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of conditions they work well on, which was pretty comparable to my old lens, sun, overcast, afternoon overcast/flat light, up to light snow. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of conditions they work well on, which was pretty comparable to my old lens, sun, overcast, afternoon overcast/flat light, up to light snow. I did get the Prizm Rose lens just in case, and the only time I had to use them was on a heavy snowy day (inch or so per hour). Those are great lenses as well, for very large ranges, but you lose the wow factor of the iridium :-). Changing lense is not as easy as some other brands, but after a little practice it's not that bad, but you will need a dry place if you don't want to get prints all over your lens. Prizm technology is great and really improves visibility and definition in flat light, and I can report no issues with fogging (I use them with a Smith helmet, which works really well with the Flight decks L). Overall great goggles.
Long time Spy user, bought my first Oakley goggles following strong recommendations on the Prizm Rose Gold lens for flat light conditions. It turns out that the Prizm Rose Gold Iridium, which seems to have replaced the non-Iridium version, is actually a high visibility/low VLT lens, as opposed to the older lens. Nonetheless, after getting used to the pink tint, this lens was great in a part sunny part cloudy day and I enjoyed riding with it. The goggles are quite comfy and provide a wide field to view. I was worried the traditional (L) version of the Flight Deck would be too large so I opted for the M, and I'm quite happy with the way they fit.
Wow. I absolutely love these goggles and the Prizm lens technology. I have been riding with these for a few months now in various conditions from Sunny, to shaded, to flat light. These add so much contrast, even in the little that flat light has to offer. They fit my face comfortably and with my helmet well. I also love the mirrored lenses they look great in photos.I don’t have many fogging issues with these. I do notice if I wear the helmet hood I do have to pull that down when at stand stills but if I wear a buff tighter to my face I don’t have any issues. The only part I would give a star less for is the changing of lenses is not the easiest. But the benefits outweigh this part.
These goggles are sick!! The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of how massive they are. I guess that's my fault for not getting measurement data before purchasing. Anyway, despite them being a little bigger than I envisioned , they still fit me and will certainly work on the mountain. The jade iridium colored film on the lens looks just as good if not better in real life than it looks in the online pictures. They goggles are comfy on my face and not too heavy. Very nice!

If pushed, the material differences would be somewhat better recognition of terrain contours and less eye fatigue from the Oakley PRIZM lenses after a long day.Comfort-wise, the Oakleys were superb with generous, soft foam padding perfect for my delicate face. I have a 55 cm circumference noggin with a high nasal bridge and high cheek bones. While the Anons were very comfortable too, I think the Oakleys would be better right through to the end of a long day. I didn't get hotspots from either and really would be happy with either.I found the Oakleys' lens changing unacceptably slow and fiddly, especially since I couldn't do it without risking rubbing the insides of the lenses with my peanut butter fingers. I almost returned the goggles because of this after my first lens-changing tribulation but they would definitely have be considered used! A good workaround was to take the lens off while keeping the goggles in their bag. The Anons' lens magnet-based changing system was so much easier and faster! I found myself fitting the Oakley lenses in the mornings in my room before heading out, choosing the lens according to the weather forecast, then switching to my Anons and changing their lenses (effortlessly!) as conditions changed while on the lifts. Anon lenses: Perceive Variable Green 22% VLT and Perceive Cloudy Pink 53% VLT. My other Oakley lens was the PRIZM Persimmon 46% VLT whose rendition esp. contrast is exceptional; my fav. Yes, I've massively overcooked all this, but it ended up being perfectly manageable and I was prepared for any light: during my trip I experienced highly variable conditions. All made possible by packing the other goggles and spare Anon lens in the wonderfully compact and comfortable Osprey Glade 5.To my eyes, marginally greater field of view compared to the Anons M2s. Was tempted to get XL but so glad I didn't as comparing with a mate's, they were too big and the XMs fit my face and generic rental helmet perfectly. He has a big noggin, craves depth of field and owns a matching helmet so XL works for him. While I tend to baby my gear so didn't trash it, I could tell the build quality was excellent (as was that of the Anons). As an side, buy a Gogglesoc! They saved my goggles many times during rest breaks when they slipped off my helmet or my helmet rolled with them on, reminiscent of 'peanut buttered toast fallen on the floor face down yet again' situations.I skied front of mountain only and didn't exert myself too much, sticking to green and blue runs, so the only time I experienced fogging was because my face mask was awry. This was never an issue with the Anons because I had an MFI face mask fitted. Anon's MFI system really is superb. If you can, try before you buy! I got really lucky with the Oakleys as they fit perfectly without trying them first. By contrast, I tried on Smith I/O Mag 2022s (S, M and L!) and they all left a surprisingly large gap midway down my perfect nose! (I got to try the Anons before I bought).I love the two-goggle setup. I just hope the foam on the goggles last long enough to really get use out of both of them to justify the extravagance. Thanks for making it to the end!
I have a slightly smaller face, so I went with the M style Flight Decks. They fit perfectly and look great on my helmet. You only get one lens though and the particular shade that I chose is ideal for overcast conditions (Rose colored), not bight blue bird days, like sunglasses. I do like the goggles enough to where I will probably get an extra set to act like shades though. If you want to check and see what lens color works for what you want, just Google "oakley goggle condition chart," and you will see graphs illustrating color to conditions. I think Evo has resources on goggle selections too.
These are good goggles. Comfortable, no fogging. The lenses are great - the prism technology helps make the snow visible. The Rose Prism lens is great for sunny days and OK for dim cloudy days. For the many dim cloudy days and flat light we get in Fairbanks, AK, I think I would prefer the the hi pink or persimmon. Price was good, shipping was fast.
Oakley Flight Deck L ski goggles combine a wide, frameless field of view with Oakley lens technologies to give clear, reliable vision on the mountain. The L size provides a generous fit suited to medium to larger faces and to riders who prefer an expansive peripheral view. The toric Prizm lens uses Oakley High Definition Optics to reduce distortion and improve visual acuity. Prizm tuning increases contrast so subtle changes in the snow surface are easier to see in variable light. The lens also offers full UV protection and an anti-fog treatment to help maintain clarity during active use. A glasses compatible OTG design leaves room for most prescription frames without compromising the seal. Three-layer face foam cushions the goggle against the skin and helps create a consistent fit, while a soft fleece next-to-face layer improves comfort against the brow and cheekbones. The strap and trim incorporate recycled polyester, with fleece detailing for a comfortable interface with the helmet and head. The frameless construction is helmet friendly and works well with a wide range of modern ski and snowboard helmets. Overall, the Flight Deck L is appropriate for skiers and snowboarders who want a wide, unobstructed view, reliable contrast enhancement and a comfortable, glasses-compatible fit. It is a practical choice for varied mountain conditions where terrain reading and peripheral vision matter.
