Oakley Holbrook Black OO9244 Sunglasses Black

I am loving my new sunglasses, but there were a couple things that threw me off about them.When I opened the package the lenses were seperate from the frames, which I wasn't expecting. I wrote a chat to you and the response was "go to an optometrist" so I went on Youtube and they showed me how to install the prescription lenses myself.Secondly, they did not come with a case, but with a sketchy little cloth bag, unlike the second pair I have on order (CA0690796522G) which hopefully will come with the free Oakley case as promised. But I'm still loving my new shades, and will send a photo when I get on the boat.Can I arrange to have an additional Oakley case included with my new order??? Thank you.

Another solid purchase.

I chose the MotoGP urban camo frame/24k iridium lens series and I am very pleased with the purchase. I'm a long time Oakley customer and always purchase limited edition or signature series items exclusively. I figure if I'm going to spend the money on "high(er)-dollar" glasses, I want something a bit more special than the average product line. This helps me be more conscious to take care of them as well.As I've stated in another review, many customers have a perception that, because of the price, Oakleys are supposed to be indestructible. If you are the type of person that loses glasses all the time or puts them through very hard use, this model is probably not for you. Oakley makes different series that are meant for extreme use (military/LEO, etc....) which may suit your needs much better. However, with the more "casual/fashion" oriented glasses, you cannot expect them to be bomb-proof. Remember, you are paying for high-quality lenses and exclusive styles, not unrealistic durability.That being said, I have NEVER cracked or otherwise broken Oakley frames. The lenses will become scratched over time, but this depends purely on how you take care of them. The only other issue I've ever had were the rubber "ear socks" on a pair of Oakley Scalpels wearing away- After 5 years of continuous use!

Best Sunglasses Ever

Awesome sunglasses in every aspect of the design, fit, function, and style. I'm usually skeptical about purchasing eyewear online without trying on first, but the AR-viewing ability helped curb my nerves and helped me get a sense of what they'd look like. Needless to say, they nailed it in virtual realm and reality! Will definitely be purchasing again with this ability to check out products from online and get the comforting sense of what fits. The Polarized-Prizm lenses are outstanding at viewing everything in sharper clarity than expected, adding great detail to any landscape being viewed, water or nature

Disappointment, sugar quality, shipping is a joke

Disappointment overall in the lenses in regards to quality. They just seem cheap, easily breakable. The lenses arent complete tungsten copper color where it will block your eyes from being seen by other people. Shipping is a joke with DhL who will just transfer it to USPS after sitting on it. Oakley packages your glasses without giving a hoot. Just throw the glasses in an oversized box with no packing peanuts or even paper. Let em bounce around in there, that’s why you pay so much money right.

Lenses are too thick

I ordered my first pair of glasses from them back in January and I was not impressed with the craftsmanship at all so I sent them back. They suggested another Oakley frame and charged me the difference. Unfortunately they did not fit my face so I had to send them back to. Finally I asked them to send me a pair of Oakley Holbrook since I already had a pair of those for a few years and I knew they fit well. For some reason the lenses are really thick and they make the glasses heavy on my face, always sliding down my nose and making them very uncomfortable . I don’t understand this because I have a pair of Ray bands with the same prescription and the lenses are very thin and light. Oakley Holbrook OO9102-W755 Black Ink / Prizm Sapphire Polarised Lenses

Purchased the Oakleys in the hope that the superior price would mean a significant reduction in scratches on the lens'. Not to be. After taking extra care of them over the last 6 weeks, they're littered with scratches. My advice would be to keep the cash and spend it on a few pairs from the Cancer Council.

Positives: Good job of shielding eyes from bright sunlight without being too dark. Clarity and color enhancement are comparable to other premium offerings. Fit improved with the slightly built up nose area. Quality: Average as materials do not transmit a high quality feel. Could be better for price. Negatives (for me as I have a typical Asian male profile): As an Asia fit version, the Holbrook should include more than nose enhancement, it could be slightly wider, height slightly less. Conclusion: Kinda/Sorta OK with the Holbrook. The Oakley website could include more detailed description of Standard/Asia fit differences from model to model. I asked about my personal, older, pair being reglazed and it worked out cheaper to get a totally new pair, with red iridium prescription lenses fitted!Bonus is I got the original purple iridium lenses in the deal so my older pair have new lenses and my son is very happy to have his new Oakley’s!Ordering was simple, delivery took longer than expected, but I am sure the current pandemic saw to that! Worth the Investment

I bought the all black Holbrooks with black polarized prizm lenses about two months ago. I never write reviews but I have to for these. There's only been a few sunny days where I've been able to wear the sunglasses and they're amazing. The colors come through vibrantly and lenses cut out glare. It's almost like they're telling your eyes to see better. I feel like normal sunglasses just make everything darker, these block out sun while still providing unmatched vibrance and visibility. It's a hefty price tag, but they're great for driving, fishing, or everyday wear. If you have the money to invest in a quality pair of sunglasses, you won't be disappointed.

This is my first time purchasing Oakley sunglasses but I love it so muchI bought this for my daily hiking activities but the colour matches my hiking outfits so well (Arc'teryx, Fjällräven which I also bought from Altitude sports)It just does what it should do. It blocks UV lights and protects my eyes. And I think it's very stylish
