Oakley Latch Prizm Sunglasses Matte Black

After finding a pair of Oakley sunglasses on the side of the road (!!), I realized that expensive sunglasses really are SO much better than cheap shades. So when I lost those glasses swimming in Puget Sound, I quickly ordered a replacement pair. The Latch sunglasses are lightweight, comfortable, and cut the glare but still let me see in shade. Plus, they are assembled in the USA—so rare anymore.

My favorite sunglasses. Don’t get stick in my hair. So stylish and effective. Love how it doesn’t distort your vision. I have had my pair for quite a while now and they have endured the pool, vacations and kids.

Oakley is by far the most underrated sunglass brand! The Latch is specifically created with the user in mind having the ability to securely latch onto your shirt. The Oakley Prizm technology is the best part! Don’t believe me? Go try on a pair and stand outside. Everything will appear sharper, clearer and vibrant. There are so many different shade Prizm Lens colors to choose from, each having a different light transmission and purpose.

BE CAREFUL WITH THE LATCH!

My wife bought them for my birthday less then a year ago she knows I’m an adventurous and extreme husband. I really liked the latch part cause I don’t have to be worried about the sunglasses falling and scratching or breaking.One day I was at a friend’s balcony and was dared that I couldn’t do a backflip, took the dare and did the backflip (won the dare) but while doing the backflip my so called Oakley Latch had came off my polo shirt halfway on the flip kicked them and flew off the balcony 25 floors down. Went down to find my glasses and found them broken in half. I was told by a friend to just called the warranty department they would give me a new set cause it was a defect. The next day, I went online and file a warranty. Decent

The glasses look flattering, but cheap. I don't know what happen to Oakley's quality, but I ended up returning these and going with a pair of Smith sunglasses. The lenses are awesome (rose gold polarized), and the frames are super light, but also flimsy. There's no grip over the ears or nosepads and they are crooked. Also, they had smudges on them. Oakley still has my favorite lenses and I've always been a fan, but these are not worth more than like $50.

Great lenses, small issue with the frame

I bought Latch sunglasses one year ago and mostly I am very happy with them - beautiful colors on bright light (I have Prizm Violet, but be aware, they are a little too dark for low light conditions). My issue with them is that a little "USA" sticker has fallen of the frame (it was placed on the frame behind the ear), and now there is an ugly hole. As far as I could see, almost all Oakley's sunglasses have that sticker, but don't know why. It is just glued there and could easily fall off during the summer times. Other than that, pretty great sunglasses. But considering the price, I think Oakley should do something about that sticker (probably remove it), because that little thing is a bit of stopper for me when considering buying another Oakley's.

My most versatile pair of sunglasses!

Love these glasses. I got these to replace my very old Holbrooks (Pretty sure they were first edition, the Sean White ones), and am extremely pleased with the lense quality and overall make. I've always wanted Frogskins but they just look terrible on me, these work perfectly and I may like them even better.The Jade lenses are definitely green, but have a more blue-ish/turquoise hue in the sunlight which I really like as well. Highly recommend. I use them touring/hiking and casually. Super versatile pair of sunglasses.

Oakley Latch Prizm Violet

I bought these to replace a pair of old Oakley 'Two Face' sunglasses and am really pleased with them. They are really comfortable to wear, very light on ears and nose, not too tight on the side of my head and offer excellent eye protection and vision. The Prizm lenses are excellent (but have already scratched sadly!). I love Oakley glasses and these are my 8th pair (replaced over the years as each one has worn out)

After reading other reviews, I felt so inclined to add my review for the Latch sunglasses. They’re very light, fit good, and I really like. Now the sad, unsatisfactory part. When I unpacked the glasses from their box (ordered glasses online), one of the lenses had a scratch. I contacted Customer Service and the rep. said that all they could do is give me a refund after I returned the glasses. I totally dug the glasses (Grid collection glasses) and just wanted a replacement lens, to which the rep said it was not possible. What bummer because the glasses were no longer available, so I couldn’t get a refund and the buy again. So maybe I would rate the glasses as a 4.5, they’re really cool. Sunglasses

Nice sunglasses and lenses. They look good and fit great. I bought these without trying them on and they fit my medium face very well. The only reason I give them 4 stars is the following: 1. The design allows a fair amount of light leak from the sides- and this reflects off the lenses and back to your eyes (a bit annoying but not the end of the world). Holbrooks do a much better job keeping light leak out. 2. Oakley advertises that the prizm rose lense warms things up.... however I do not agree with this. It appears that it enhances greens and diminishes reds. Other than these 2 items I really like these glasses
