Oakley Metalink OX8153 05

I love these glasses. I have them as sunglasses with a dark grey lens and they look and feel great. The varifocal lens works great in these and the interchangeable nose bridge makes them really comfortable.Some reviews have mentioned them feeling very tight at the side of the head. They are a straight arm glass and as such, need to grip but I've found this comfy rather than tight.

Nice shape and Oakley detailing. Very light weight, but sturdy.3 sizes of rubber nose socks to adjust the fit and height of the frames off the top of your nose. I would have liked to know that before I bought them, but I took a risk which paid off.The width of the rubber grippy portion of the arms are quite wide above my ears and meant it initially dug in. I've worn them for a week now and I've gotten used to it.

Absolutely perfect in every way

Purchased this pair of metalink glasses as a backup to a pair I bought from a box store. Suffice to say, I am quite shocked and pleased. The progressive lenses are way better aligned to my vision preference than the store bought. The quality overall is superior than the store bought. The package included all the extras Oakley intended the customer to have as part of the brand experience. The store bought pair didn singleqoute t. The prescription also seems to be more accurate and better overall than the store bought. My eyes are much more comfortable in these. At the end of the day, GlassesUSA has a loyal new fan and long time customer. I couldn singleqoute t be happier, the backup pair is my go to pair now!!! Thank you GlassesUSA!

Excellent Service for remote area residents

I had visited your Facility in Vancouver years back and was impressed with the Facility. However we since have moved to a Remote Northern Community in the BC Peace District far 12.5 hours drive from Vancouver. We have an optometrist who visits our little town once or twice per year for a clinic and then to actually get glasses there would be a lot of travelling back and forth to Dawson Creek involved. I was so surprised at your website and the online tools it has. It made getting my new glasses so simple and right from the comfort of my home. I was able to upload my recent perception and then use the online tool to measure my pupil distance. The pupil distance was needed for my order but was not indicated on my prescription by the optometrist. The online tool measures your pupil distance and then I ordered my new frames selected lenses and paid the invoice. Well about 9 days later I had my new glasses. Great frames, transition lenses not great

Glass is good lenses so so. I was very specific in ordering Sapphire colored lenses and theyre nowhere near the color as advertised. I think of sapphire lenses I think of the blue lenses associated with the Oakley brand sunglasses. These are nowhere near that. Save the money and just get the basic transitionals

Metalink

I bought these, they were a replacement for the first pair that had problems with the lens and were out of the other style. I like these better, fit perfect, are light feeling and except for not getting the transitions in the lens I like them. Getting a remake and hopefully they still have these frames. Three stars are only because they got the lens transitions wrong but the RX is perfect

Oakley Metalink, Outstanding!

After way too much research, I decided on the Metalink eyeglasses from Oakley. The Oakley "O-Matter" frames are paired with metal arms covered with a grippy nylon material. The lenses through Oakley are simply fantastic, the clarity is excellent, as is the anti-glare coating. They are extremely lightweight, and fit without pinching. The nose pieces are highly grippy, comfortable, and replaceable. Seriously, these are the best eyeglasses I have ever had in my 35 years of wearing prescription eyeglasses. You won't be disappointed. Also, SportRx has fantastic customer service as stated in other reviews. I will always buy from SportRx from now on.

So Grateful

My previous frame with high index prescription lenses broke unexpectedly, and I was really in bad shape.This was the only place that had this exact frame .My order arrived quickly and I was able to bring it into a local optometrist, who put the lenses from my broken frame into the new frame.Worked out perfectly!!

Uncomfortable to wear over time

I liked these a lot. Great looking design, sturdy materials, a slight curve across the front so that it better fits the face. However, over time wearing these they become far less comfortable and led to pain where the arms rest on my ears.I tried different bridge fittings and adjusting the arms, however unfortunately they just keep on hurting after extended use.Going back to my previous frames allowed the pain to stop, so it really seems like it's this frame that is the problem. I'll be returning these under the 100 days money back process. A shame.

Yellow Prizm great for gaming, not for daily use

Great fit and finish. I love the look, and I love even more how well these fit while I'm wearing a headset.However, one thing I'll note is that I ordered these with the Prizm gaming lenses- and I wasn't aware of the degree of the yellow tint. It's ok; I absolutely love the lenses for gaming, which I do a lot of. But I didn't originally intend to buy these just for gaming; I bought them for daily use, which I don't think these lenses are very good for. I am overall very happy with them, but they will become a dedicated set of gaming glasses... it just would have been nice to know that before they arrived!
