I bought this after trying it on in store. I used a mirror that has three different lighting tones before i step into the bathroom natural light environment with it on. Each setting was fantastic as I could use a little at a time to build a comfortable and NATURAL bronze glow. I went into the 30 degree heat and it stayed with powder. It also doesn’t emphasise my acne, meaning when i put it on over foundation, it doesn’t make it obvious that there is a red pimple which i was conscious about. This helps with a dewy look as the sheen gives glow. I had set the look with powder to withstand the heat. It worked.

I brought this many months ago and because of how short the stick was, I assumed that the stick wouldn't last long. I still have so much left so it definitely lasts a long time. The formula is amazing, it's so creamy and blends in instantly and smoothly. It gives me such a sunkissed look which is always what I am looking for in a product like this. Lastly, the price is so reasonable, this is very affordable but also good. Even good priced things can show good results!

I have experience with a few different contour sticks and was excited to try out a more affordable option. My current products in my routine are ABH and Fenty so Off Duty goes up against them. The Medium shade undertone comes off a bit muddier on my light-to-fair skin and they can dry out quickly so you need to blend fast. My other sticks had more shade ranges so I was able to choose one precisely for my skin-tone. However, it goes on extremely smoothly straight from the tube, with only minimal foundation removal. I did not feel I needed to use a brush to apply from the tube. So as long as you apply and then blend out quickly you shouldn't have many issues. I have used this contour stick for years and nothing else beats it. Super easy to blend out, wears well all day. One stick will last ages. I usually use a brush to get remaining product once it has been wound up all the way. I’ve tried a few other brands but always come back to this one! Nothing else will beat it.

The product is super pigmented and blends sooo easily! Literally feels like butter so smooth. I find it applies better if warmed up in the back of my hand and applying with a brush rather than directly onto the skin but that just might be because I bought a shade that's a bit too dark for me. I took a star out simply because it smells kinda weird? I can live with that tho
This dewy contour stick is amazing! It makes my skin feel great! Only issue I had was the shade range, as I wish there was a lighter shade for lighter skin tones. I'm quite a pale girly so sometimes if I apply TOO much contour I look very muddy and sometimes this contour can give off that muddy look for me. But if you are more tan it would look amazing on and the formula is absolutey wonderful and blends like a dream babe!
The blush version of this product is much better. It has a very limited shade range of only 3 shades. The texture of the product is not emollient enough despite being a cream product. It does not apply smoothly to the skin and clings to dry patches nor does it blend nicely. I tried using my fingers, a beauty blender and a brush but it would not budge.
I'd ready all the hype and waited for it to come back in stock a few times before purchasing it. Incredible value for money like everything Mecca Max. Love that it's vegan and the colour is the perfect balance of warmth and cool toned shadow. It has a more powdering finish than I expected. It looks like it will feel more like a balm but it doesn't. It really needs the warmth of a finger tip to get it to blend well. And as a brush person, that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. It's literally perfect for chucking in your travel stash or your handbag if you're on the go, but day to day, I'd rather ti blend a little easier with a brush. Probably not what it was designed for, but because I love the colour, I still turn to it.
When it comes to contour, I've exclusively been a powder kind of girl for over a decade. I picked this up on a whim and gave it a whirl, and consider me a convert. This is super light and blendable, and really easy to use. I'm really fair and cool-toned, so the wrong shade of contour can be really obvious and muddy, but this is perfect! A friend with medium-dark, very warm skin also tried it and found it suitable for her skin tone as well, so it's a really good neutral colour.The only thing I would change is its width -- I'd love it to be a tiny bit thinner, so I can get a skinnier stripe of product on smaller areas, like my nose, but that's easy to work around; just turn it on an angle and use the edge.All in all I'm thrilled with it. And so affordable!
