OGX Conditioner Purifying Charcoal Detox 385ml

So I've realized this product will work differently for everyone. It all just depends on your hair type. I've used Other charcoal detox shampoos in the past. This may not be my favorite but for the price it's not all that bad either. Now I have straight black hair that tends to start looking oily by the end of the 2nd day. I enjoyed using this shampoo with in conjunction with the conditioner even i found this to be too drying. My ends just looked too dry specifically. I preferred a different conditioner with this shampoo. Also i wouldn't recommend using this shampoo that often, I would use it once every 3rd to 4th wash ( I wash my hair about twice a week) Otherwise, like i said it got too drying. I received OGX purifying + charcoal detox Shampoo from Influenster as a courtesy for free to try out. I like the color of the product and that it’s on par with the charcoal trend that is happening. I really like that it helps to detoxify your hair. I have very fine, color treated hair. Every time I put the shampoo I feel like my hair feels lighter but I also feel that they shampoo helps to keep extra shine and just provide the right amount of shine on my hair. My hair is very oily and I do suffer from some dandruff and I’m happy that this shampoo didn’t give me an allergic reaction as would other brands I’ve tried. I received this product complimentary, and my first impression was great! The dark color of the shampoo is unique and eye catching. I really like how subtle the smell is too; a refreshing change from the usual floral or fruity smell. The first time I used it, my hair felt very soft afterwards, however I have noticed with more uses, I haven’t been getting the same results. I also noticed that I have to use more of the shampoo to get the same foamy lather compared to other brands. I like that this product seems to nourish my hair in just the right way! It’s doesn’t leave my roots too dry or too oily, which is great because my hair tends to be more on the oily side and I shampoo every other day. Charcoal is often used in skincare to achieve the same aim - it helps purify and ‘detox’ the skin by drawing out impurities and congestion for spot-prone skin. So I was curious to see this ingredient being used in haircare for oiliness too. The formula comes out like a sheer grey, and it has a lovely, thick consistency that forms into a rich lather once applied. I was a little afraid that a thick formula would result in weighing my hair down, but that hasn’t been the case at all. Instead, my hair is squeaky clean and the curliest it’s been in a very long time, especially as I haven’t been able to have a haircut in many months. It genuinely feels like my hair has been restored to its best after every wash, and my hair no longer feels flat and lacklustre because of it. This shampoo is often on sale somewhere or other which means it’s priced around the £4.50 mark (its normal price is £7.00). It’s now my one and only 💕

It foams well - I hate shampoos that hardly bubble up so it doesn't feel like it's doing anything! This feels like it's thoroughly cleaning your hair of any oil, dirt, and hair product build up. I was looking for a shampoo that would combat how oily my hair gets after a few days and I feel like this actually prolonged the amount of time for my hair to get unbearably greasy. Best detox conditioner

Used with the partner conditioner, this shampoo thoroughly cleaned my hair like a detox. It lathered well on to my very long and very thick hair . I was worried my shower curtains would go black but they didn't. As charcoal and clay is good for your skin,face ofcourse it would be good fornyour hair. I use this twice a week to give my hair a proper detox type cleanse. It really does clean all my hair out where it is ready to apply the partner conditioner. I was surprised on how much less i had to use if both the shampoo and conditioner to work into my hair. There was no strong charcoal smell . I think the coconut ingredient balanced out the strong ingredients. I worked it in my hair with 3 scoops normally i used 9 scoops! .my hair literally and looked like it needed a deep clean every week. This is the first time ice used a charcoal based shakpoo and conditioner and i am pleased! It helps if you have greasy hair,frizz,thick,dry and damaged hair. The size if the products are handy if your bathroom is small for space.

Does Exactly as Advertised!

I was unsure about using this product, but I bathe dogs for a living and the high humidity in the air at my work space has my scalp suuuuper oily and I often use dry shampoo. I always feel like Im not 100% getting all of the residue from everything off of my head, and I know that the high humidity is a huge part of the problem. I'll be honest, things got bad. I have dandruff, but not the dry, flakey kind. Mine is dense, itchy, and really oily. Ive searched and searched for something to help me, and within the first use, this product did exactly what I needed it to! I can run my fingers through my hair and not feel any oils, build up, or residue. It DOES dry your hair. This shampoo has a very strong scent that lingers even a few hours after your hair is washed and dried. Personally, I like the scent. But if you're sensitive to smells, maybe look for an alternative.
