Olaplex Daily Cleanse & Condition Duo

Adore this product. It keeps my hair healthy and shiny. I would give it 5 stars but the packaging is ridiculous- cheap and makes it difficult to get the product out toward the end of use. There’s no taper when the bottle is turned upside down to encourage the product to come out, instead it’s thick and gets caught on the very flat bottle near the dispensing cap. Fix this, Olaplex! This product is too luxe to be trapped in that poor design! That said, I highly recommend the shampoo and conditioner.

I had the worst reaction to these items. They made my scalp itch so so badly. I would keep scratching until my scalp bled. I've never had this reaction to hair products before. I didn't want to throw money away but I also didn't want to continue to damage my scalp. I stopped using the products and the itching has largely stopped. Also, I didn't experience any of the benefits that I was expecting. Hair was not softer, more manageable, healthier, shinier. Nothing. Absolutely not for me. I only give 2 stars because they do smell nice.

I love how the olaplex system works. My hair is softer, healthier and full of shine. Trust me when I say this system works because my hair is long, thin, colored and abused by heat, cold and the Colorado dry altitude. I always had flyaways, frizz, and little shine. While this review was for the shampoo and conditioner I have to speak to the whole bond system program. I use 0 and 3 once a week, number 8 once a week (so twice weekly deep conditioning). Number 4 and 5 for normal daily care. I occasionally will use the number 4p purple shampoo mixed with the number 4 shampoo to control any brassyness that may occur from the colorings. I was a skeptic originally BUT am now a true believer in the product. I started with 0 and 3 then added the shampoo #4 and conditioner #5. So you don't have to start with all of them. Try it.
