Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Foaming Cleanser 50g

Used to be a tital effwcts user in my late 20s but has opted for the all natural brand. Now in ky early forties, it just doesnt cut it anymore. I felt my skin getting rough oatcges and drier due to cold weather and well, a lot of late nighter. I don't remeber the facial wash to have a sort of chemical scent,but i did love how thci and creamy it lathers up even with the minimal amount of products. Almoat no residue left when i use a toner which atteat to ita cleansing power.

Cost Effective Foaming Cleanser

The Olay Total Effects Foaming cleanser, which I received from a Priceline goody bag, comes in a twist off, flip top squeezy 100g tube. It had a small peel off foil sealer. The product is a white pearl colour and smells nice (like soap). I only need to squeeze out the tiniest amount as once I've added water it foams up. A lot.I use this as my first cleanse in a two step cleanse routine and I find that whilst its great at removing most of my makeup, unfortunately, its not always great at removing my mascara. I suppose I should be using an eye make up remover but then that would make it a three step cleanse routine. Gentle but thorough clean

I am a big fan of Olay’s products and the Total Effects Foaming Cleanser is a really great product. It’s a very gentle cleanser, it doesn’t feel like it’s stripping your face of its oils. It leaves your face feeling moisturized and feeling thoroughly cleaned. There’s no fragrance so it doesn’t interact with any other products. You don’t need much to build up a really good lather and then apply to your skin. This means that the tube lasts for a really long time and makes it’s very affordable. It’s the only foaming cleanser I’ve used in the last 10 years.

Luxury foaming cleanser

I have been using this cleanser off and on for years and I just keep on coming back to it as it is an awesome cleanser and has a gorgeous luxury feel to the foam without drying out or irritating my somewhat sensitive skin.The tube that it comes in is easy to use and you can shut the lid with one hand when you are holding cleanser in the other one. It also means that you can squeeze out the last little bits so there is no wastage.This cleanser is just beautiful, I love the smell, it is like the rest of the Olay Complete range and you only need a small amount to make a luxurious foam. I have used it for many years and will continue to do so as long as they make it.

Surprisingly non-stripping for a foaming cleanser

The Olay Total Effects foaming cleanser is a staple part of my cleansing routine. It is not the cleanser I use daily (I use a cream cleanser for that) but when I need a deeper clean I reach for my Olay foaming cleanser and it delivers.The cleanser comes in a generous 100 ml tube which lasts for a very long time because you don't need much of the product to do its magic. Looking at the ingredients list, this is not for those who prefer natural products.It has a very thick, creamy texture and virtually no scent (a barely detectable sweet scent, but nothing that lingers). Rinse thoroughly.When I cleanse with this product I find it does lather easily, but not much. It is a mild lather rather than a foamy one. Much of the product stays in its creamy form. The cleanser is able to remove all dirt, creams and oils from my face effectively, but without stripping the skin. In fact, my face feels soft and calm after use. I don't find that it nourishes the skin at all, which is why I prefer to use a cream cleanser on a day-to-day basis, but there are times a more "heavy duty" approach is required, and that's when I reach for the Olay.I don't wear make up so I can't effectively test the claim that it removes make up, but, for the purposes of this review, I smeared a dark red lipstick onto my hand and tried to remove it using this cleanser. It did eventually do the trick, but it required quite a bit of scrubbing and elbow grease. I think there are other make up removers on the market that can do this job better by dissolving the make up.Nonetheless, this cleanser has a definite role to play in that it gives a deep clean without leaving the skin feeling stripped and taut. I will happily repurchase this cleanser when my current tube runs out.
